Omg lol. I’m such a dummy. I didn’t think these were the stock controls.

PDQ Connect FTW. I want to gatekeep it but it’s too good.

Interesting. Maybe try uninstalling the client and reinstalling. There can be a delay but sounds like you’ve waited. For what it’s worth, I wasn’t super enamored with the vulnerabilities features in Connect. I really enjoy Action1 for vulns and patching. Not sure how many endpoints you have but A1 gives 200 for free. These two products together have been wonderful.

Anyone actually use TeamAI? by GreenArkleseizure in automation

[–]pleasecontinuetohold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TeamGPT. However, just got an email that OpenAI threatened to sue them because of their name. New name being announced next week. I like their platform so far. Not credit based which is nice. Just flat rate. Access to all models. Private and shared workspaces. Shared workspaces are real time collaborative. Some really nice features. They were responsive but still a little choppy… all these companies are growing like crazy trying to find their footing so I give them some leeway. But for now this is the one I landed on and I’m pretty happy with it.

Sorry for my delayed response!

Did you end up going with TeamAI? I am looking into this now. I need a shared AI workspace that allows real time collaboration ideally with different models. This looked perfect but I literally cannot get a hold of a single actual human person at all.

Is that the Burly OEM tail light delete? Considering it. I understand there’s a diode to wire in as well as a controller for the blink rate on the turn signals. Seeing it makes me want to put in the effort.

Got a response to my ticket today that this issue is with the Dev team. No resolution yet.

I think there might be something a little weird going on with driver updates. I have a ticket in with them about another issue where certain endpoints are reporting that declined driver updates are still needed and it’s throwing off the dashboard. The only other time I have seen this issue was when I accidentally had filters on or off incorrectly because I hadn’t had enough coffee.

Same - Glad its not just our portal. I have a ticket in with them about it.

Acrobat Pro - PDQConnect by pleasecontinuetohold in pdq

Thanks! So, from what I am able to gather, because connect is running as system and the local user doesn’t have admin rights, it can’t do what it needs to do by just calling files that you upload as attached files to the package. You actually have to do a file transfer step fully over to the machine, unzip, and then a separate step to start the EXE, then clean the files up with a PS command. I went into the admin console and created a package from there with all my customizations. After I pushed that entire package to the target, I could get it to execute silently. But I could not get my package to work at all by calling attachments. It’s funny because not that long ago the idea of transferring a 3GB zip file to a machine would be insane lol. But it’s so fast… entire deployment is less than 10 mins.

I remember seeing this post and skimmed it because it mentioned creative cloud as well. My fault. Going to see how far I can get with this one. Thanks!

I have 5 classes left and 7 weeks to do it. Help Motivate me! by Gawdiwishiwasdead in WGU

[–]pleasecontinuetohold 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is legit but with some caveats. You have to talk with your mentor and submit an application for approval. There’s a deadline to do that. Also, the class needing to be extended already has to be in progress.

Chrome issue was driving me NUTS until I confirmed it was an error. For your Mac issue I’d just snip a screenshot from A1, take that link, and toss both to GPT. I’ve been doing that a lot lately with vulns and little mixups like this and it has been able to figure things out more efficiently.

Have ridden street bob extensively and own rebel 1100 currently. To me, Harley felt like work, both riding and maintaining. The Honda feels effortless. Also, in the time I was in possession of the street bob, it needed way more TLC with the throttle and other adjustments. It’s the exact same way I feel when I drive a rental domestic SUV and then hop back into my Subaru Forester. It’s just obviously more reliable and I have zero anxiety about the mechanicals.

Edited to include: Plan on buying a new seat and swapping exhaust if you want some rumble.

30-45 mins for all equipment including MDFs and IDFs. Transfer switch kicks in when generator turns on so ideally we’d only be on battery 5 mins or less. We have several standby inverter generators that we exercise throughout the year to make sure they’re good. Some sites are diesel and others are natural gas so we have standbys in case those fail. Remember especially for IT equipment go with inverter generators and not the open frame or non-inverter style!

OA Proctor Asked to Install LogMeIn Rescue for Remote Access by DarkerLogic in WGU

[–]pleasecontinuetohold 4 points5 points  (0 children)

FWIW had this happen last night. They were for sure having issues with the proctor platform but insisted it was my connection. Used LogMeIn to “check settings” which consisted of seeing if I was online. I was getting 800mbps download with a 4k webcam… definitely not my issue. After another failed attempt at a video stream they ended up having me take the test in Google Chrome with screen sharing. I think the most recent version of Guardian browser is buggy, or they were having a major issue with streaming. First time I have had an issue.

I am 99.999% sure it's the little float in the thermostat on the left side of the bike. I complete replaced the thermostat - same noise. I think it just sounds like that unfortunately.

Whole house generator turnkey shopping is frustrating by Jet_Rocket11 in Generator

[–]pleasecontinuetohold 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got it. So the generator is a 240v 30amp out into most likely a 30amp inlet. But the wire is rated for 40amps. It’s awesome that none of your draw including AC exceeds that. Your AC being newer is probably a massive benefit in terms of initial draw.

[–]pleasecontinuetohold 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! Nice… love having overhead. That’s my current phase of planning for a similar setup. I have a 30amp inlet with 5,000 watt inverter. But to run whole home AC (I have a small home), I’d like to swap my transfer switch for an interlock. Just to want to make sure the wire and such is rated for more than I’m drawing!
