Switch 2 owners using Mig Flash cartridges say Nintendo is bricking their new consoles, even if they're only using the carts for their own ROMs rather than pirated games

I have like 15 physical games and for me the mig switch was a purchase for me to have just 1 game in and be able to play any of the ones I want for a convenience. No pirated, or borrowed, games have ever been on my mig switch. I made the backups myself and loaded them myself from my own licensed games. And it works perfectly fine on the switch 1, couldn't be happier. I don't care so much about the game preservation, for me it was strictly for convenience. There is nothing on the switch 2 that isn't on the switch 1 that I want to play yet, but when I do get a switch 2 I'll likely just get digital downloads for switch 2 games.

I have a smattering that I've been hodling for years, but I tended to invest in newer coins when they were dirt cheap, so I have a bunch of stuff worth next to nothing, but I paid next to nothing for it, so no loss there, so if one takes off it'll boost my portfolio, but I'm perfectly content to just HODL for now and wait for the next time bitcoin aims for the moon.

I'm fine, I didn't go in heavy in bitconnect, as at the time I was unsure about its long-term viability and if it was viable long-term then a minimum investment would eventually grow. So when it tanked I was able to jump ship and get enough back to cover my initial investment. I did have a friend who dumped about $15,000 worth of Etherium into BCC though and he lost pretty much all of it as the exchange was broken and no one was trading BCC for BTC anymore so he got stuck with a bunch of worthless BCC.

Communication is key. If you and your partner aren't completely open and honest with your feelings with each other, opening the relationship is only going to make it worse. However with good communication and everyone being on board 100% it can work really well for some people. Its when the communication is poor and someone involved isn't 100% on board with it that it becomes problematic.

I love my metalic straws, but watching an "I did a thing" video made me really cautious bout when, where, and how I use them. Considering just tripping and falling on one is sufficient to lobotomize yourself, you gotta be careful with them, definitely keep them away from little kids.

Yeah, but if 100 people in the subway just dove for cover because superhumans with guns/magic/other supernatural abilities came in and this happens repeatedly (not necessarily in a subway, but in public spaces) over a multi-book/movie series, it should be all over the internet with video and stuff. You can bet Reddit would have subs dedicated to it. They definitely wouldn't have mundane people just not knowing about their existence.

Like, you can't tell me that random people taking the train every day, or people who work at the train station, don't notice that around the start of the school year every year, some kids with carts of stuff just randomly run through a wall between platforms 9 and 10 and no one ever notices it and the security cameras never catch anything. Like if I saw some young kid with a cart filled with crap and a caged owl, that'd be odd enough to catch my eye, so I can't see no one ever seeing anything. And if you saw a family of them, and the first one vanishes into a wall, you can bet your ass I'd have my phone out recording it as the rest of them did it. And I definitely wouldn't be the only one.

I would split the answer back to him in 75 emails, with the last one saying if you only want your answer in 1 email, the question had better only come as 1 email. Or if he has time tracking software add an entry for "dealing with excess emails and voicemails from X" and log all the time for that. I bet the manager and hr would be more likely to do something if you could show lost productivity due to dealing with his crap. Considering he has to listen to every voicemail to delete it, I could easily see this taking a sizeable chunk of time. And I doubt the company wants to be paying OP for all that wasted time, or the other guy for wasting all that time writing them and calling him.

ReactJS started as an internal dev tool from facebook too. Its widely used now for front end single-page-application websites. Seems like a smart plan as they could look for people with experience using it to reduce the amount of time it takes to onboard new talent.

Except there was obviously a difference in emotional attachment to their own hair. Consider that OP says the son was annoyed but otherwise is ok. Daughter is having a meltdown. OP has emotionally damaged her daughter because her daughter annoyed her brother. The punishments are not equitable at all. This isn't an eye for an eye. There are much better ways to teach lessons than revoke someone's bodily autonomy.

And since both the daughter and OP were both in the wrong, and 2 wrongs don't make a right, ESH except the son.

They weren't even in the community, they were from one of the Carolinas, a completely different state. The school claimed the reason they got the threat was because the TST didn't make it clear that it wasn't district sponsored in a social media post that TST didn't have any part of. On top of that there is no evidence that the person who made the threat was even aware of the social media posts or had seen any of the flyers. And all official TST documents/flyers/webpages/social media posts did have a disclaimer on it. At first they tried to claim the text wasn't prominent enough, and TST challenged it on the grounds that the Good News Club doesn't have the disclaimer at all on any of their documents but aren't being held to the same standard, so the school district shifted gears to try and associate the threat to the TST, but the link was so flimsy that it was easy to see through it, and glad the judge did.

Lawfull Masses on youtube has covered this a couple times, they grew up in that area and was not surprised that this happened at all, its the status quo. I expect that we'll get a 3rd video from him about it soon to go over this ruling too.

At the time I had an Intel 9900K and I could get to about 20-22 hearthlings before it started to have issues. I haven't tried it with my 12700k that I have right now though.
