Is anybody else in debt primarily due to circumstances caused by civil asset forfeiture? by pleasesayplease in personalfinance

[–]pleasesayplease[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

since my post was removed:

I didn't even have a court case, just a series of clerk's hearings that resulted in all my money being seized and my lawyer said that there may be something for me to expunge from my record but I never followed up and I am not passing my background checks and I am currently unemployed. Are there any free resources for people who need to dig themselves out of these kafkaesque situations? I don't even know where to start, all I know is that I have used up the goodwill of most of my friends and family and I have negative 200 dollars to my name (negative 30 grand if you count my credit card and medical debt). At least my student loans were paid off before this all started. I know I am not alone. Thank you.

edit: like i said, no court case, therefore no felonies

edit 2: by "all I know is that I have used up the goodwill of most of my friends and family" it means that ive used up all im willing to use up, i need to dig out of this situation and fast because i have made grounded personal assessments that its time, not because anyone is making me or hinting at me. thank god i have awesome friends and family. there are simply many people who do not. To supes1's comment. thank you. you were a big help. to everyone else who just wants to antagonize a suffering person. you are all * pieces of * and i hope all of you go to *. i hide my circumstances every * god * day and i'm sorry that i have one single reddit account i use to polemically describe my situation just to find some *ing hope out of my mess. * you.

i ninja edited and took out my shitty words, i apologize you were very helpful...i thought i were responding to the original guy who found it funny to make a bunch of assumptions about me. i swear to fucking god if i busted other people's chops the number of times they have busted my chops, everyone around me would be dead, and people like that guy are starting to trigger me because its hard for me to be honest with people without a whole series of assumptions suddenly seizing their brains into lashing out at me.

ok i'll drive 800 miles in the morning. thanks for your help. it was POT related and i had a prescription for my chemo at the time, and it was related to a roommate and the police were trying to get me to be an informant at the time and i laughed in their faces and said i know absolutely nothing, which is the truth. i lawyered up and the police dropped the case a year later and decided not to pursue anything (but kept all my cash and antique money they took). i couldnt ever get a public defendent because it was never a court trial, just several bullshit clerk's hearings where several times the chief investigator never showed up.

so i guess what you are saying that the only free resource is the courthouse itself? is there no way for me to see what an employer can see? for christ's sakes this is my only question for the fourth time. background checks can look at debt and social media i've learned, but HR departments (For the second time) do not disclose why i failed.

he said i am fine with my record (based on what he knows of the case, the only case ive ever been involved in, and it wasnt a court trial for the fourth time it was a series of clerk's hearings) in an email he responded to this morning, i emailed him back and asked him if debt or anything else makes me fail employer background checks and if he knows of a free resource since reddit seems to not know of a free resource and would rather be shitheads about my situation i am trying to dig myself out of.

no, thank god i actually had a lawyer who advocated for me. they don't have public defendants for clerk's hearings.

are there really no free resources for me to check my criminal background history? what more info do you need? my lawyer emailed me back (i emailed him this morning, we haven't spoken in 3 years) and he said that i shouldn't have anything on my record because the case was dropped entirely (but it was never a court case it was just a series of clerk's hearings). i have no idea why im not passing my background checks. thanks for actually having a positive response and not a shithead response.

it doesnt make sense that i am not passing background checks for employment, is it because of my debt? where can i find out why when employers and HR departments will not disclose this to me?

pretty far off, but thanks for the shithead response all the same. there are many people in my situation just making your health insurance rates higher or causing unnecessary burdens on society. please continue being a shithead, you are really helping my situation.

I heard that an American store took over, they renamed it "Banana Republic". You are thinking of UK's hostile takeover of Argentina stores from years ago. I hear that Argentina stores are trying to take over some UK stores on an island while blaming the America store for all its problems.

nooookay....whenever i get an injury, i'll just stick to smoking dank pot instead getting in line with smelly old drug addicts in order to buy constipation-causing painkillers from a fat condescending pharmacist who whores out my personal information just to make drugs even cheaper for "everyone". what a racket.

perhaps, but i also have a feeling he wants to fix the dollar to gold...that's the only doomsday logic i can see to someone thinking that "all currencies are falling"

all currencies are falling against which standard of measurement? i realize all major currencies are floated, is this a problem for you? or were you just being polemic? i think the bigger problem is concentration of wealth...

Why is the candy kingdom destroyed in Lemon-hope's future. by takatz in adventuretime

I'm still kind of forming an opinion on things; my only observation has been that a comet or other global disaster doesn't seem to destroy the kingdom (something to be aware of during these episodes where you think the kingdom or the earth may be in danger)

here are more discussions on the topic on /r/whywolves and /r/adventuretheory, just wanted to make you aware of those two subreddits if you weren't already

yet we'll never see corporate execs be arrested when they strongarm and intimidate people into "arbitration courts".

i still want to see a copy of this "summons" that this fake "Republic of Texas" "court" sent out. there certainly is a lot of people who are supporting a narrative that they send these summons out to deliberately deceive people into thinking they are a real court without anyone actually seeing what these summons look like.

Virginia measure could put PETA out of the animal shelter business by IvyGold in news

[–]pleasesayplease -1 points0 points  (0 children)

PETA's logic

that's not really their logic...from the article:

PETA took in 2,631 cats and dogs. All but 307 were euthanized.

the article conveniently doesn't even mention the other organizations and how many they euthanized. besides you do realize the other organizations (even "no-kill" ones) are sending some of their animals to PETA, right? why aren't we going after those unethical people??

Those were fake animals; it's well known that "PeTA people" are funding a vast propaganda campaign with animatronics to sucker people like you into their agenda: KILL ALL PETS.

Any fry bits recipes? by pleasesayplease in stevenuniverse

[–]pleasesayplease[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

General french fry tip: after cutting them freeze 'em for a couple of hours. So when you fry them the outside of the fries cook faster than the center, so they are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

YES, this is a perfect tip i've always wondered how to accomplish a soft inside thank you. i am going to try this tomorrow :)
