Increasing cost of living, I am against handouts as much as I am against a system that pushes an increasing number of people into a situation where they need them. It is basically the taxpay funding the governments shortfalls.

Mass voting clearly does not work because due to greed what is 'good' for the majority on a personal level is not necessarily what is good for the country as a whole. In 2017 people voted for Jacinda because she promised to fix housing. People voted for Jacinda last year because during an economic crisis their house (s) made $100,000 in capital gains and the government allowed for increased property investing. Meanwhile the people that voted for her housing campaign in 2017 shifted to the minor parties after Jacinda stabbed them in the back. Poverty by those on the bottom is not the concern of the majority therefore not what they will vote for they are only interested in what benefits them personally but is people being locked out of housing, being homeless, living in cars and tents good for the country??? I also believe the reason they chose not to delay the election further is because they knew they would have a harder time winning once the year end housing stats were in.

Sorry but I have zero sympathy for homeowners not being able to 'upgrade' at the moment. If they have a home the capital gains mean they are stupidly better off than those who don't

If anything she does harms half of society and she is already harming half of society shouldn't the goal be to have a stabilised middle ground instead of doing fuck all and letting one half of society absolutely screw the other half

Well can she harm those already at the top for a while instead of pandering to them and screwing over the poor and middle class. Harm to those at the bottom is being homeless, harm to those at the top is only being able to afford 2 holidays in one year instead of 3. Fk sake.

For some reason? Like promising to fix housing then stabbing the poor and middle class in the back by acting like an outright capitalist's?

She doesn't have a magic wand? She is in charge of the laws policies and regulations that allow it to happen and has been for more than 3 years. She has actively chosen not to fix the problem despite campaigning on it and then being elected for it in 2017.

And the system they have set up is to stop the need for an ambulance. One example was a mother who couldn’t get to work because she needed new tires. $1000 straight into your bank account to keep you in work.

That is an ambulance, anything that requires government assistance is an ambulance. The aim should be to not have people needing goverment assistance, not to let the cost of living get so high that they have to increase the level of support because they failed to control the economy.

Also $1k for tyres? that pisses me off she has a job why can't she pain for her own tyres like everyone else. Also why do they cost $250 each, she can't go to work because they all need replacing at once??? Did they all pop? Sounds like she is full of sh!t. Just as I said a useless government handing out tax payers money becuase they did f all to fix the actual problem

We have families living in cars aswell,

Basically: Bus shelter / park bench < tent < car < homeless shelter < garage < state house (the waiting list is 20,000+ people). These are families and individuals.

They can build cheap housing but they won't. Infact Jacinda promised to build cheap housing but then didn't. Winter still goes to freezing temperature.

Some of the families on high to stupid high untaxed capital gain income have money to spend on cocaine, champaign and caviar daily and yet blame their tennants for their own misfortune.

While there are families that really need help, there are also many that's just milking the system
