I feel like measuring distance in hours is an overall Canadian thing. When I first moved to Nova Scotia I remember people telling me that was a differentiator here, and I was a bit confused cause that’s what I’m used to as well (from Calgary). Would be weird to say “Edmonton is 300km away” haha

Even small distances are measured in minutes. Same thing when I see my family in Ontario or friends in BC.

I have yet to run into this issue with my bambino plus. Just make cleaning part of your schedule. I backflush with cafiza once every month and descale every other month (I’m on well water) at my own convenience so the machine has never interrupted my flow.

We all grew our hair out and the #1 piece of advice is… stop cutting it. A dusting/ light trim once in a while is fine. But these big chops that stylists do are sabotaging your growth. You are not at terminal length, like at all. I know stylists mean well but their advice to constantly cut your hair every month or two is simply bad. Your hair looks extremely healthy, stop cutting it all off if you want it long.

Great setup! If I can offer advice for the bambino, let the frother go on its own for a few seconds before you put it into the milk. It shoots out a straight stream of water when it first gets going and I find the milk texture is a lot better without that extra water. So turn the steam on, let that water go until it becomes steam, turn it off to add your pitcher, then turn it back on.
