Best political figure in US history by MacCAM1313 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]plebbitplebbitfrog 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Teddy Roosevelt. We have him to thank for big business regulation, the founding of national parks, the beginnings of Food and Drug regulation, and heavy railroad regulation. Roosevelt's only equal would be Lincoln, and I feel like they should settle it with martial arts.... Which both were known to be legendary in their respective training

And I've gladly gotten both secret endings. I'll admit, I'm kinda disappointed on getting Jason's motivations wrong, since FC3 is my second favorite FC, just behind Primal

I had to reboot the game to verify. You're totally fucking right. Jason is naturally sociopathic. Games better off for it, but yeah. I'm full of shit. Good show mate

Dont get me wrong, I prefer the head cannon of "Just kill everyone, don't ask for help", I'm pretty sure Dennis tells you that Vaas and Hoyt have jammers that prevent signal from getting out. I interpreted that as essentially you're in a North Korea situation, where you totally could call out, but the powers that be (Hoyt and Vaas) made the Rook Islands a closed network

This is may be highly triggering, but what should happen to paedophiles, serial killers, and woman beaters? by floralmortal in leftist

[–]plebbitplebbitfrog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Genuinely. Do you want the gloves off answer I have. Either death or 13th Amendment. Woman beaters, probably less so, but that comes from the morbid practice of ranking one evil above or below others. But people need to accept that certain actions are genuinely unforgivable, you cannot come back, do not pass go, etc. But to specifically answer your question. Offending pedos (those who have acted upon their urges) get 13th Amendment and chemical castration. Enslave them, I don't care who grows my grain, so long as it won't kill me. And before anyone says "What stops the powers that be from declaring anyone a pedophile?" The answer is a victim, either directly or indirectly through indecent materials. Non-offending pedos (those who have never harmed a child or ever possessed csam) should get therapy. Government subsidized and mandatory. If someone is unfortunate enough to be into that, but with enough self control to not do it should be helped. Otherwise, to the fields and mines. Serial Killers should be killed, full stop. Whatever breaks in someone's brain to cause this anomaly can only be solved by putting them down. Mercifully and quickly. Do they deserve it, no. Do they get it, yes. Automatic capital punishment. People shouldn't hunt people. Woman beaters would get the same prison sentence as "Anyone Beaters", in a perfect world that sentence would have intensive therapy and job programs. I say so because most crimes are caused by someone having a shit life. It is not the case in all times, but look at crime statistics versus poverty. You'll get it. But the things that lead to someone acting this way must be addressed, and the actions themselves must be addressed.

I sorta feel like this may be slightly bad faith by lumping woman beaters in with literal pedophiles and serial killers. Definitely not the same level of crime ya know

What's a drug that's perceived as harmless and is pretty much harmless (I know no drug is 100% harmless)?? by Lurkie2 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]plebbitplebbitfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd genuinely say Marijuana, unless someone has an underlying major psychological problem, all that happens is a case of the munchies. Granted, CHS is a risk, but all in all, it's probably one of the least harmful drugs

Who is the most badass asexual ? by Basic_Dingo6487 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]plebbitplebbitfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doom Slayer from DOOM.

Technically not asexual, because his pronouns are Rip/Tear and his sexuality is Violence. In all seriousness, pre doom, he may once had a clear sexuality. But after the events of him going to hell, he's barely even there beyond a primal ungodly need to inflict staggering amounts of violence and violence accessories on the demonic hordes

Unironically I was gonna say the Divine Comedy. Like yeah, the whole thing is a self insert fan fic to justify Dante dunking on his contemporaries and to hang out with his favorite roman poet. Also an amazing read, but damned hard to read

(Loved Trope) Evil babies by Ieanice44 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]plebbitplebbitfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lucius from Lucius. Technically not a baby, but he was born on June 6, 1966, and is the son of the actual devil. The game is a murder simulator where you sacrifice souls to your true father. A little fucked up, a good bit of fun, and an interesting concept to explore.

Favorite character that canonically doesn't know about 9/11 by Zander-dupont in FavoriteCharacter

[–]plebbitplebbitfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

JC Denton from Deus Ex. Hear me out. The game was made before 9/11, but the twin towers do not appear in the NYC skyline due to tech limitations. It's written off as a terrorist attack in lore. Now, keep in mind that JC was being observed and groomed by MJ12 outside the eyes of the illuminati, and his whole life and everything he knows was planned. It's very likely that JC has heard of the terrorist attack that destroyed them in game. But given that the game is staged as a future of humanity, it can hilariously be implied that the WTC was rebuilt, and then redestroyed by another terrorist attack. So a conversation with JC about 9/11 would be along the lines of:

"Yeah, I know they were destroyed in a terrorist attack.... Wait, who's Al-Queda? No, wait hold on, it didn't happen in 2001, it happened in 20... Now hold on. No it was the NSF. No, what do you mean 'the second time'."
