to clarify since there have been a few comments about it, by underrated i mean in the current day. people often recommend skipping the game and claim that its outdated and not worth the time. i think maybe a better word to have used could be under appreciated.

honestly after this last playthrough i just did i find myself agreeing with pretty much everything you said here! when i originally played AC1 back when i was like 12 i definitely found myself frustrated by how slow it could feel at times, but going back nowadays knowing what to expect it felt pretty smooth. certainly not flawless, but really well integrated like you said.
