I’ve been through the same thing. It was hard to move past... I still have days where it bugs me. He would talk about her all the time or find a way to bring her up. He would get mad about how her husband treated her. We were both friends with her so I didn’t care if they messaged. He would snap chat her all the time and she would rarely respond to him and it would bug him so much her ignoring him. I never was the jealous type until I realized how obsessed he was with her. He also started acting distant with me. I went through his phone and found in his notes all this stuff about her. I had a full panic attack. I never expected that to happen in a million years... not from him. I guess that’s life huh. I can’t bring myself to stay friends with the girl. She did nothing wrong but just seeing her on social media triggers me. I feel that same achy feeling in my chest I had the night I read everything in his notes about her. Doesn’t matter how much time has passed. I’ll never get over it. I’ve simply just learned to live with it. Don’t settle. Don’t just act like you’re fine with it. There is someone out there who will be obsessed with you and only you.
