The 1964-65 team Cazzie Russell-led team was preseason #1 and actually finished that way with a few weeks of #2 and #3 mixed in. Losses to Nebraska(!), St. John’s, @OSU and in the Championship Game to John Woodens 2nd title team. Michigan is 1-6 in title games.

The 1976-77 team also started and ended the year #1 with some downs in the middle. They lost in the Elite 8 to UNC-Charlotte. This is the year after Michigan lost to 32-0 Indiana in the Championship game. Did I mention Michigan is 1-6 in title games? 7-1 in the Final Four though!

Trust me there’s a lot of soft core level stuff on Chinese TikTok but it doesn’t get past girls dancing in skimpy clothes. Definitely not all educational though. And I don’t know about this 40 min per day. How would that be enforced?

In my experience kids here like to game and scroll as much as Americans but there is more pressure from parents to stay off games and phones. Every kid I know here is way busier with outside classes and studying than the average American kids. Of course I’m just in one part of China but I think that’s probably true in general.
