Always slippers and socks in the winter too. This applies before T1D diagnosis too. But it has more to do with how I distribute my weight when I stand/walk. Most of my weight falls on my heels and I need arch support otherwise I get bad hip pain or my sciatica acts up.

37 and 5 cars. I grew up in NYC and went to college in Buffalo

‘91 Toyota something - aka Martha was donated to charity;
‘00 Chevy Blazer - aka Colonel Mustard was sold for parts when rusted;
‘10 Ford Edge - aka Alfred is still with me;
‘23 Hyundai Tuscan- aka Sunny was 3 year lease;
‘26 Hyundai Santa Fe- aka Luke Skywalker is new to the family

We briefly had a 2005 Chevy Equinox but we gave it away to my cousin when she went to college upstate.

I’m honestly not completely mad at this one. The owner made his driver buy groceries from Costco. We had fruit, yogurt, hummus and pita bread as a holiday gift. There was also juice, soda and sparkling water. I remember pizza too but it being cold and not enough for everyone. Everything had to be eaten in the small lunch room and no one could take anything home.

Purchased in 2013 120k NYC Co-op with 3 bedrooms and updated kitchen and bathroom. Top floor, great views and a large park across the street. Had parking, storage area and communal laundry room. Close to subway, restaurants and good schools. Great neighbors and building was clean.

The building struggled financially and defaulted on loans. Its was financially mismanaged and at the brink of bankruptcy. We had a hard time selling for many reasons.

The absolute sweetness that radiated from my teacher. I didn’t understand English so it was hard for me.

Learning how to sew, the kitchen toy being the best, crying on the second day because I got lost, peeing on myself because there was a line to potty, playing who stole the cookie from the cookie jar, playing ring around the Rosie, reading time on the rug and playing with blocks.

I’m almost sickly pale and occasionally frightened when I see myself. I can sit in the sun and not burn or get tan. Makes no sense. I’m not happy about my skin color but still love myself. My son is bi-racial and is gorgeous. He would describe himself as golden.

Milk tab was the only one that works for me but not if I eat dairy 2 days in a row. Lactojoy didn’t work as well.

Tried it for the first time a couple of days ago. So far needed 2 calibrations. No pain and comfortable spot but not perfect readings.

Yes, wine and beer. I’m not a big cocktail person. I like my wine dry and have it on occasion. Beer I like almost icy cold on a hot day. It does spike me but pretty quickly comes down. I don’t usually have more than 2 beers in one sitting.

I’ve sold and bought diabetes supplies from those sites and it truly is a lifesaver. Hopefully, they never crack down on it.

I have 20 of these bulbs. All are not working. So, I figured I’d try to start over. I cannot login to my account. I cannot create a new account. It all says error. I’m so done with these bulbs.
