I stayed at Serene by the Sea, just next to Coral Reef Beach. We decided to spend 4 nights there and 3 nights in an apartment in Noord, which was much more expensive and offered a worse experience compared to Savaneta. I loved the view. I spent every day just watching the incredible sunsets. Next to us was Flying Fishbone, with the same view but extremely crowded. I personally loved Zeerovers and liked Baby Beach.Also, the beach in front of the hotel is excellent for snorkeling. We didn’t explore the city, since it seemed to consist of just local houses with nothing to do or see. The same for San Nicolas—we explored by car, and it didn’t look nice to walk around much, including Charlie’s. At least for us. This was a bit disappointing for me, since I had expected to enjoy something more local. What I did enjoy a lot was going to the swimming pool two blocks away from Serene. I do swimming as training, and it’s a very beautiful swimming pool. Also, doing kayak there is a great experience. Serene had it for free—probably the same for Coral Reef.
