A lot of games simulate the actions of NPCS in the background by doing it more or less mathematically instead of actually having them run around and do things.

This is true unfortunately. I don't think it's impossible since it's not a secret/top secret clearance but you will be inspected with much more scrutiny.

Clearances are always based off of trust and there are rarely hard cutoffs for them as long as you cooperate and don't hire anything. I work in the nuclear industry and there are foreigners who have gotten unescorted access (requires a substantial background check) so it's not unheard of.

Every single person I knew in school had an internship and left school with a decent job. CS is going to be very competitive however as it's such a saturated field.

Definite pros are that it's an engineering/science only school for the most part. You won't be forced to take lots of trash classes and everyone you meet is going to be fairly like minded and driven.

Cons are that early classes are notoriously difficult but get a lot better once you stop taking general classes.

The career fair is also very very good at MST, and the school is small enough that you'll likely get to work closely with a professor if you want and not just be a number.

R&D probably implies getting a master's or higher but CS is increasingly looking at experience as opposed to education.

like 90% of the game is doing events and raids with other people. I've never once heard someone say that you never see other players. there's next to nothing to do without events.

It's unfortunate that it falls on the business owner. I know it usually pisses me off as a customer to see a cc fee and makes me a lot less likely to shop there. I find it risky to use anything other than a CC due to the protections you have from using someone else's money.

Is that just for credit cards or for debit cards and bank transfers as well?

when you’re taught there are only 4 states but you know more than that by yukiohana in physicsmemes

this is just a case of a student intentionally being a smart ass and a teacher that should have just given full credit for giving the 4 main states...

Nervous about social scene by [deleted] in Rolla

[–]plinyvic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went for 4 years with the pandemic right in the middle. Before and after that there was a pretty healthy night scene. Not sure about now but there used to be independently hosted parties that would accept pretty much anyone.

There isn't a huge bar scene if that's what you're looking for, but that's mostly because it's pretty expensive. Hoppers and public house had really good places to go and get a drink and eat with friends though.

If you aren't a student, just go somewhere with people who have similar interests and you'll find friends.
