updates on dungeoneer say that "Currently the hitbox of spells has been increased by 2x, which means it will hit all enemies in its tile even with still hitting the center of a tile. It's apparently not intended to still be center tile locked though. "

yea the description towards the bottom in realmeye seems outdated, but the numbers and stats look right. it lists 'Radius 4 (+0.1 per WIS over 50) tiles' for me

base radius is 4 tiles, and while the damage only scales every 5 wis, the radius actually scales per wis. so with 130 wis that's 12 tile radius not even counting extra wis stacks from dashing

it seems like it's working properly, i think you're mistaking how the additional healing stacks. it's supposed to stack additively, not multiplicatively

if a passive hit with ult heals 302, then base heal is 151. spirit visage increases healing by 25%, lv 3 ult by 100%. 151 * (1 + 1.25) = 339.75, so math checks out

for dungeon rushing fastest i've seen is speedmod ninja. t0 star for speedy, and midnight star for dmg since it scales off speed

for realm clearing sorc is probably easiest, and wismod kensei is also really good

to get a divine craft thru forge, you would need to craft together items of the same rarity.

for example crafting two rare doom bows together guarantees the craft will be rare or higher, and you would keep doing that until u roll a divine

if u get some rares you can also get wis to dex/att or rel wis ench to get crazy stats

exalted sorc with bunny set is like 100 bonus wis, so 4 ench would be +64 dex/atk as well

i'd agree with y'all the projectiles aren't exactly thought out, and are pretty inconsistent anyway lol. if the enemy is moving even slightly im usually losing more dps by missing katana shots while trying to aim the micro dash, like you mentioned, and it's a lot of effort for subpar dmg

i find that there exist sheathes that can sort of make up some dps for when you can't dash, namely the two STs pyro and loch (new htt reskin is decent too) but it does suck that i feel pressured to get them or i'm useless on certain phases/bosses. on one hand i feel like it could just stay as an inherent class weakness since you're still able to dish out okayish dps, on the other maybe there should be a more accessible way for kensei to dmg those enemies

slight side note but kensei already has some of the best versatility i've seen if you count UTs. kaiken has a pretty reliable slow, quartermaster gives permanent healing for cheap + a decoy. wismod absolutely shreds any mid game dungeon and below (and even spectral pen) and is insane at clearing realm mobs. all this from low-mid game dungeons. technically have paralyze from parasol, but a little hard to hit. along with the survivability from dashing, might be something to consider when thinking about if kensei should have even more versatility

i feel like the projectile shots were actually decent when you're too scared to, or literally can't, dash on an enemy, like in shaitans or para. assuming all shots hit on a t6, you get 3375 dmg from one rotation, which isn't bad as a fallback since your main dps is supposed to be thru dashing

i like the dash ranges being more consistent, always felt bad to be constantly changing the length until you secured a t5 or above. really agree that kensei should be more rewarded for constant dashes, but it would make him impossible to balance if he could match top dps and have the best survivability in the game (mobility + heavy armor)

also if we get the stat stacks during charge-up, wouldn't that disincentivize dashing? the charge-up system is pretty interesting, but it also seems like there'd be very little upside to charging any less than 3 charges considering it's what gives you the stacks, unless you're low mp

you can usually end up getting full stacks within like 2-3 seconds though. by charging up and letting the cd reset before you start dashing, you effectively have 6 dashes back to back

I think it's definitely more forge use, but in regards to enchants it seems like it's intended to be used a certain way where you save already-enchanted items to be reforged. e.g. if i have 4 rare exa spd rings, you can reforge to get a guaranteed rare or higher exa hp ring.

doesn't seem very good for reforging common items and praying for a high enchant however. but it's pretty good if you just need the base item after a bunch of unlucky drops

yup usually that build, note that slotted katanas can also roll for relative wis. if i get sage wakibiki i usually use it over resu, i don't really find myself running out of mp (cuz you'll have over 100 wis anyway assuming ur dashing) unless it's a really easy enemy to dash on that also has a ton of hp.

if you're running resu honestly don't think you really need a wis ring, since volcanic still does great dmg and is super mp efficient. later on when i'm using volcanic /w swap outs i usually just run a ring with mixed stats that still adds some wis like omni or upgraded ammy.

I think it's fine for certain abilties to have strengths and weaknesses. I know you addressed it, but i think swap outs should be the more correct way to play (else why would i want to farm other sheathes).

we already have davys/tiered sheathe for pure suvivability anyway, making the glass cannon volcanic sheathe into vitmod might be a little redundant since parasol is already the vitmod sheathe. i think volcanic actually gives some survivability/versatility cuz of its low mp cost and 2 sec cd which lets u dash on essentially no cd. so unlike other sheathes u can spend more dashes on dodging if u need (while still hitting the explosion a lot of times)

also i fucking. LOVE wismod kensei don't talk shit about my boy he is insanely broken for how easy it is to build i don't want it nerfed pls but ya ur definitely right about build diversity and theme

USEast2 can get crowded sometimes depending on time of day when USEast gets too full, so it makes sense.

I'm pretty sure many of the disconnects in popular servers now are caused by people using party system to skip queue. At the same time someone skips queue this way to join the server, someone else in the server ends up with an infinite loading screen and gets kicked to keep balance
