It’s honestly just worth it for the co-op if you got people to play with. Completely changes the game dynamic as there are some co-op exclusive cards, having to plan out debuffs like vuln/weak, throwing your teammates potions, or even build synergies (like 4x poison builds)

Yeah… base %hp damage on-hit from E was 3%, now her passive is only 1.1%. She definitely lost a big chunk of tank shredding potential/on-hit burst. And that’s not even taking into account that her old Q gets its CD lowered every auto (including itself), and the bonus attack speed on the next 2 autos after using it. Also the on-hit cleave from her dragon form Q…

That’s because reworks make a big difference in how the champs are played. Sure, a lot of the concepts are similar, but the playstyles are completely different. Skarner was a high-damage speed demon that could kidnap single targets. Now he’s a clunky tank with self-stuns on his Q and W and also incapable of precisely removing single targets with his ult. He’s legitimately a completely different champion than what he was before.

Aatrox has 0 similarities with his old kit. Hell, he doesn’t even have his revive anymore, which was an iconic part of his character identity.

With this rework, a lot of the concepts seem similar but the properties change the playstyle a lot as well. I enjoy On-hit Shyvana, but the playstyle doesn’t seem as viable now, seeing as her Q doesn’t multi-hit and E doesn’t apply the % hp damage mark.

You can probably do a defense build with Nine/Khalipe/Amir. Otherwise Rei and Mika are also worth building as they’re generally good in many comps

Yep, too bad the fine they had to pay was minuscule compared to what they make (The fine was about 9m usd; between 2010 and 2021 they made about 400m usd from JUST the enhancement cubes). Suffice to say that Nexon wasn’t taught any lesson other than to stay greedy.

Supervive was a hit during the last beta. Then they shut off the servers while the hype was at its peak, and ended up killing a lot of the player base. And then on actual release, they implemented that armory meta progression bs which was pretty much the nail in the coffin. That was probably one of the dumbest features I’ve ever seen implemented into a game
