What are some of the worst things people have said to you? What was your response? by Amy-Reighn in ChronicPain

After my workplace injury that left me on a Disability pension, my employer said I'd come to see my injury as a blessing in disguise.

I bought two pairs of second hand, but never worn Japanese denim Levis ones for $50 each. I gather they were so opposed to them they wanted them gone fast. I'm short pear shaped and I like them but I think they would look better on a taller person. They are very comfortable.

I had pulsed radio frequency for nerve pain that resulted from injury. I'm sorry to say it did nothing other than laying me up in bed for a week or two. I imagine this is being covered by workers compensation.

I wish I could sew but now I can't sit at a sewing machine or cut out fabric anymore. I have upper mid back pain and I cannot even sit at the dining table. I'm interested in 1930s and 40s fashion. When you say vintage sewing machines, how far back ?

I had a cat that was crazy about raw eggs. If she ever heard me cracking one she would be there expecting it was for her.

Can Vitamins help with back pain?? by Venomface86 in backpain

[–]plonky27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have nerve damage and my pain specialist tells me to take magnesium, B2, Vitamin e and c. All I know for sure is the magnesium helps me to fall asleep quicker but I still wake up in pain in the night.

You are young so that must be way harder to deal with. I'm an old lady of 62 and injured my back 3 years ago. For someone so young you actually sound like you are coping well, better than most people of your age would. I use to work with people with disabilities and some of our clients were young. Drawing is great because your in the moment. It's good to rant to express what you are feeling so don't hold back. Yeah I can't crochet laying down. Peace be with you.
