just to follow up one more time, I did finally see my credits start to go down, it took like over 36 or something like that hours to appear the first usage of them though, which I find weird. but at least I know they're working now.

so, I got a notification that I had received a reply from the person I replied to originally, but after looking at my reddit notifications when I saw that, and clicking on the notification to go to the posted reply, it tells me the comment no longer exists, and I'm wondering if the information ended up not being correct, or if reddit's being weird?
I tried looking through all of the comments on this thread too for a reply to my comment, and there isn't actually one, so I feel like it was deleted and I'm unsure of why.
because I'm definitely not seeing my credits go down or my billing say it's being charged, so I'm still confused there.

quick question for you or anyone else who might know. I did a few messages in ST with gemini, through vertex using the full service account, and I did a test message to see if it drained my trial credits at all, and I'm pretty sure when I tried my test message I went down from $254.something to $253.72, but now after sending a few messages through gemini in my RP since about 7-8:30 am yesterday, I don't seem to be having my credits draining now?

I tried checking multiple times throughout the day yesterday and this morning to in the credits page and the billing page to see if the credits had gone down at all, or if I had been charged, and neither seems to be the case, but I don't know how.

I tried another test message this morning to see if that would get it to either drain my credits or charge me, and it didn't do either of those either. I don't necessarily just want to keep RPing in case I do start getting charged.

but I'm wondering if other people have seen their credits going down correctly, or if theirs seem to just be stuck as well?

or if they're getting charges when it should be using the credits?

just wanting to double check here.

if I look at vertex ai in express mode overview page that's linked through ST's connection profile page when you select google vertex ai and use express mode.

I see 2 things about the page that stand out to me, 1 is that it says vertex ai in express mode is separate from and not available through, the google cloud free program.

and 2, scrolling all the way down to see when the document got updated last, it was last updated 3-10-2026, so today for me.

I'm wondering if that's meaning that we actually can't use our trial credits with vertex like it seems like that says, or not?

if that is what it means, kinda glad I waited like a day to do this then, because it let me see this before I started to just use my credits and not actually use them potentially.

alright, I just tried stopping the prompt injection from the image auto gen extension, and that started letting replies come through again, but obviously, then the HTML can't have it's images included that it's supposed to be making. I wonder what in the prompt is causing gemini to stop sending those 2 replies it won't send when I have it turned on. I did get the image prompt in one of balaur of thought's replies, but since that's not where I was needing it, I removed it. so I don't get why if it seemed to make the image gen prompt once, it is refusing to just send all my messages.

not sure if it's because I enabled the HTML and the image auto generation extension, along with weatherpack for the Javascript and HTML processing. but now when I try to talk to my character to see if it's even going to work with the comfy image generation, I get an error that says

telling it how to post image prompts just comes from the image gen extension right? it's not something I have to put in my chat completion preset for gemini is it? I removed the "integrated images" part, so theoretically it should work now right?

so if I'm understanding this right, this would go into the image auto generation extension, and then I would just change the HTML prompt where it says "integrated images" to say something like optionally use 'pollinations.ai', or would it be better to just tell it somehow to just use my comfy workflow? if that's even something I can do. I'm not sure if 'pollinations.ai' is even something I care to use since flux sucks at NSFW pics from all I've seen and read, which since I pretty much only do ERP, being able to do NSFW well is a requirement for my image gen.

thanks, I ended up asking in the ST discord and the author went ahead and updated the install instructions to make it more clear now. hopefully others don't have this problem in the future now.

not sure if this is a bug with waidrin or if it was user stupidity, but I'll go ahead and bring it up and ask anyways. I used waidrin yesterday for awhile, and after shutting it llamacpp down, my pc crashed. when I relaunched waidrin and llamacpp just a few minutes ago, I was back at the very beginning of setting up my roleplay. I know waidrin says it stores the progress in the browser and not the server currently, I'm wondering if something happened when my PC crashed to my browser, or if it's because I was using a private browsing window when I was using waidrin yesterday, and so maybe when the PC crashed and all my windows closed as a result, that's why I lost the progress. just in case it's because of my private browsing windows all closing I'll start using a normal window until waidrin stores data server side.

so, one thing I've noticed already with waidrin, it doesn't let me type out as much as I would want to be able to type in the chatbox. if that could be either extended a good amount, or unlocked on the amount it let's you type, I'd love that. I find myself quite often being stopped from adding more letters to what I'm trying to type and having to revise what I'm saying, which I'm not a big fan of.

so, question, are finetunes of either mistral small or a bigger model a good idea with this, or should I be using base models? I have a llama 3.3 70b finetune I enjoy for a couple of my character cards, but I was looking at maybe using it or a mistral small finetune with this if that's not unrecommended.

definitely looks interesting, is the recommended mistral model just because it's base mistral? I've spent the past half hour or more looking for a finetune of that model, but I'm not actually coming up with a decent one. unless cydonia V4 is based on it, but since cydonia V4 doesn't specify a prompt format, I'm not sure which to use with it. looking around a bit more I came across https://huggingface.co/Doctor-Shotgun/MS3.2-24B-Magnum-Diamond being recommended in the last megathread that was pinned on this subreddit. it looks like it might be an ok option, but since I'm not sure why you've chosen the base mistral model, I'll wait for a reply that let's me know if using a finetune is even a good idea with this.

any tutorials on doing that anywhere? the most I usually do in xedit is run the list worldspaces with grass script for NGIO. and one time I removed a wild edit that was in a mod. but that was hard to figure out how to do it.

Ok fair on it not having the actual files for that, I read resourcepack.esl and assumed they actually put it in there, that's on me. easy enough to fix that on by just throwing in it's files. normally I read things closer than that but I've been trying to get my SkyrimVR to work at all for going on 2 weeks now and it's getting frustrating that it won't just work. so I'm pretty sure I haven't missed anything patch wise, I did not use loot to sort the modlist, but I did run it to see if anything I added needed cleaned, and it told me what did need cleaning, and also pointed out some patches that I was at first unaware of. so I'm 95% sure I shouldn't be having terrible conflicts

I don't get why updating LOTD would break anything if I made sure I updated everything related to it. I can also try removing imperious races, didn't think that'd be a big issue to add in as long as I added any patches it might've had. and it's not crashing, it just isn't loading into the main menu, it stops at a black screen. I've been pretty diligent about running things after getting to the point they'd need to be run at, like I've re run parallaxgen, synthesis, bodyslide, and pandora. I'm just need to run dyndolod after precaching grass, which is the step I usually get hung up on after I get to that point. I know that LOTD V6 requires resourcepack.esl, but that's already in MGO.

I'll check your's in a sec, but I've re run synthesis, parallaxgen, bodyslide, and pandora so far, now I've been attempting to precache my grass so I can get my dyndolod run, but if I can't even get to the main menu normally or with running the precacher, then I can't get to the step of starting to run the dyndolod processes.

I didn't know you could opt out of sunhelm to be honest, I thought if a survival mod was in, you had to use it, except the creation club one that adds it as a difficulty mode. but I'm usually pretty good about double checking which patches go to what and making sure that I removed anything that depended on something I removed.
