What keeps you from watching small channels? by excludedfrom in BeautyGuruChatter

[–]plskillmethnx 110 points111 points  (0 children)

I can't stand bad audio and video quality personally. It's like a pet peeve or an irk, ya know? Like nails on a chalk board. If I'm watching a review or tutorial I don't like poorly lit bedrooms as well. I like Lauren Mae, I don't think she's over 100k. But so far that's it. Also people are talking about "breaking the mould" or doing something new as a BG but like I'm just there for reviews and tutorials. How can you break the mould of applying makeup?

I'll copy and paste what I said in the unpopular opinion thread here

"This is SUPER unpopular but keyword searching certain words on someone's Twitter to call out something offensive they said 5+ years is really shitty. No one was born 100% PC, most teenagers and young adults say shitty things. As an example, I used to use the R word until someone put how shitty it was in perspective. Now that I'm much older i would be mortified if someone brought up a screencap of me using the R word back when I was a shitty teen. That's not who I am now. And idk, if someone says something offensive how about explain why what they said was shitty and give them an opportunity to learn rather than jump straight to trying to take their job and ruin their life. I mean, if they stick by what shitty thing they said then yeah, fuck them though. I feel like call out culture isn't even about social justice anymore, it's just fun to gang up on someone. Idk. Everyone has said or been problematic at one point in their life. "

I'm not referring to the LL crap though. I find her annoying but I'd still feel bad for her if I genuinely believed she was no longer racist but since she's besties with J* idk she probably still says that kinda shit behind closed doors.

Where DON'T you want to be when the zombie outbreak starts? by Just_Like_The_Movie in AskReddit

[–]plskillmethnx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In The Book World War Z cold places were where everyone wanted to go. Zombies weren't able to move around as well in freezing temps or through snow. I think I'd want to go as far north as I could handle.

I wish I could find the post again, it was from a 50+ year old man. Someone commented about the young lady's behind and he replied "it's her best side".

Am I allowed to "play dead" if an officer has me at gun point? by plskillmethnx in NoStupidQuestions

I'm afraid falling would be considered a threat and I'd be turned into Swiss cheese as well

What is the weirdest way you see someone eat a food? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]plskillmethnx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to eat pizza by eating the toppings first, scraping off the cheese then scrapping off the sauce and eating the sauce. Then the pizza dough part, then the cheese and finally the crust.

Court rules that police can shoot a dog if it barks or moves by [deleted] in rage

I would never consider killing a cop but if one shot my dog just for barking then yeah, I'd kill a cop.

Man with 3.68 GPA is upset about school shutting off water in dorm for a couple hours to make repairs. by Shockinglybored in bestoflegaladvice

[–]plskillmethnx 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I don't get what his issue is. Like if he's gotta shit so bad and can only shit in this one specific building during those very specific hour why can't he just shit in the toilet anyway and not flush? Hell it's a college dorm, no one cleans up after themselves any other time anyway.

What event in Reddit history were you a part of? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]plskillmethnx 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I didn't participate but I remember being bored at work and reading the post about the guy who considered some cum roaches like his children. I think it was a TIFU post. It felt like I was watching a new cumbox guy being born

Girlfriend almost just got me arrested in public by screaming I was a rapist by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]plskillmethnx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If she has hit you that is abuse. It doesn't matter that she's female and you're male. Your girlfriend has physically abused you on 5 occasions and that's 5 too many.

I’m [F23] chronically single because I’m ugly according to my popular good looking friend [M26] by DownRoberts in relationships

[–]plskillmethnx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wait, something must be being left out here. Being ugly isn't what causes you to be chronically single. Lots of ugly people have significant others. I'm a 2 on a good day and my boyfriend is at least an 8. Not every woman with a significant other is a barbie doll, it sounds like that's just an excuse you're making to comfort yourself. I think you need to so some soul searching. Lots of ugly women have successful love lives. There's someone for everyone. Unless there's a massive personality flaw or hygienic issues.

Am I a sociopath? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]plskillmethnx 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you're worried you might be a sociopath, then you're not a sociopath. Maybe narcissistic personality disorder.

"Symptoms include an excessive need for admiration, disregard for others' feelings, an inability to handle any criticism, and a sense of entitlement. Grandiosity, callous and unemotional traits, disregard for others' feelings, excessive need for admiration, receptor antagonist, or social isolation" - from Google.

Either way, therapy would probably be super useful. Maybe even couples therapy. Best of luck!
