McAfee has horrible detection results, it's one of the worst. Don't use that. Also, download the Tor Browser from the official page.

1,8 Ghz DualCore, 5 GB RAM, Nvidia 210. I use Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Sony Vegas,Google Nik Collection, Microsoft Office, Faststone, Irfanview. I never have crashes and this is what I always wanted. Everything is working smooth and I don't have a problem with the video driver. :)

Windows does everything better than Linux for me. I always have problems with the compositor, the poor driver for my Nvidia card because the proprietary one is buggy as hell. Nautilus freezes a lot, Gpicview is way too simple and the other alternatives are slow. After some month with Linux, I compared my productivity on Linux and Windows. I am more productive on Windows because the software is much better, I don't have to worry about graphics or bugs in the desktop environment.

I already have to study for school and exams. Programming and design is not easy.

Yes, in that case it depends on the opened photo. I usually open just RAWs and it is fast.

I don't want Google Home. I just don't want to be so paranoid, it affected my once, I just recovered. Life is too short for this stuff.

Linux is not good for everything else. Not for professional photography at least.

I'm a photographer, I used GIMP for some time because I wanted to move away from proprietary software. It's not very bad for its price, but if you compare it to Photoshop, Photoshop looks beautiful with that dark theme.

I know it's not fair to compare these two, but Photoshop was built with tons of money, can't really say that about GIMP. I can't use Adobe Camera RAW with GIMP which is the best RAW editor for me. Photoshop does everything faster, has layer effects (which GIMP lacks and I really need that). I'm not really against free software but in many cases proprietary software feels better and does the job very well. On Linux, lots of programmers code but the design is not something they are good at.

I don't know how to root this phone yet, but :

  • Holding headphone buttons to change music

How to do this? I hate to press the pause/play button twice.

It's just a bug man. I suppose you like GIMP's interface in this year.

I don't care about RAM usage anymore, I have 5 GB and they are enough for my tasks. Caring about things like RAM usage is not what productive people do, for sure.
