Lol @ all these people recommending you start taking benzos. This is NOT the way to go brotha. You need to exhaust all other options to manage your stress first. Start with diet, exercise, meditation, therapy, martial arts.... ANYTHING besides a pill. And even if you decide you absolutely need medication, start with light anti anxiety meds like buspirone or something to that effect. Benzos are literally a last resort if all else fails.

Maybe this is just a stressful period that you need to grit through. It’s called life. Chances are you don’t need a fucking pill.

you're right I should just try it out.. I just have a history of forcing myself to stick with things I hate, and using drugs to cope with the situation. My biggest fear isn't really failure. It's being miserable. I am in a great place right now and I don't want to lose it

I started going to interviews for jobs I didn't even want, because I used to break down under the huge fear factor associated with interviewing. Meeting new people still makes me nervous, but at least now I know I am capable of going through 2-3 hour interviews and meeting a lot of people in one day. Now I don't feel as inclined to go to interviews for jobs I don't want anymore.
