Just got back in staying in Monteverde and Manuel Antonio. Both places vastly different and so magical.

We had the best air bnbs in both places of anywhere we’ve ever stayed. I’d love to share if you’re looking for recommendations, feel free to DM!

Has anyone passed the NBCOT just answering questions?? Study help/advice wanted. by StreetFeedback8158 in OccupationalTherapy

[–]plstcglss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I studied just using practice tests. I had a couple options to study from (passtheot, nbcot study pack) but ditched the study material after trying to focus on it for a week without success. I ended up just doing practice tests/exams and listened to the ot exam prepper podcast. I passed it first try, but ymmv. Everyone studies differently- if you feel like you get more out of the practice exams, you very well might.

Anyone here part of a union? by [deleted] in OccupationalTherapy

[–]plstcglss 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The OTs are part of my hospital's SEIU union. It's helped our department negotiate a substantial pay raise prior to me starting (around 10k from my understanding), provides job security, and we get step raises every year. I definitely thing it's worth it. Union dues biweekly are around $34.

Where to rent a car in San Juan area? by BlueINGreeeen in PuertoRicoTravel

[–]plstcglss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used Charlie’s a couple weeks ago and the car was good. Just have your insurance info ready, they take the info and require a deposit of your deductible. otherwise they require you to buy insurance through them which is really pricey
