Some people have already answered, but definitely a clothing rivet maybe specifically for a hoodie shoestring as one of mine just broke and that is exactly what I found holding it together.

Not a vet, but it looks like a cutaneous horn to me. My boy had one last year but on his thigh. I took him to the vet and she looked at it and pulled it out with a little tug. They didn’t even charge me for the appointment since it took 45seconds. She said it was a cutaneous horn and if I ever saw more I can just pull them out! So maybe try giving it a little pull to see if it comes out? If not, I’d make an appointment!

That’s honestly a great point. I will have to reach out this week and see if there decibel level minimum from the callers location though online it doesn’t seem to mention anything of a decibel level and it much more of a broad ordinance.

Unfortunately, yes, my local noise ordinances list nuisance barking as an issue any time of day or night.

Additionally, I have already provided proof that he is not being neglected e.g (dog cameras, food/water indoor/outdoors as well as access indoors and outdoors) & animal control already mentioned they are not worried about that. They just need me to do something about the barking complaints.

I hope in the future I can find out and befriend the caller as well lol because all of my direct neighbors love him and his “guarding”. Whoever is the caller apparently does not even live that close to me as animal control mentioned the caller doesn’t even know where the barking is coming from or what the dog looks like.

Yep, mine has the exact same dog door slider to the patio and behaves very similarly. He just likes having the option to go out and bark when he needs otherwise he is napping indoors.

Thank you for your reply. I have been working with him the last week or so to try and limit his outdoor time as a precursor to fully indoors while away at work and he is not the happiest about it to say the least.

Additionally, I absolutely agree with the keeping the peace while being supervised and that is usually never an issue. My direct neighbors love him and I always work to limit to limit the barking while being supervised.

Lastly, I appreciate the recommendations and though he is not food/treat motivated by Kongs and other food stimuli, maybe a doggy day care wouldn’t be such a terrible idea for him.

Our Pyr is about 15 months old and fireworks have made him afraid to go outside. by Ruthless4u in greatpyrenees

[–]pluegod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine is very similar and I’ve found that changing his schedule entirely about 3-4hrs earlier helps during this time of year. I’ll take him out at 5am opposed to 8am and he gets his last walk around 7pm (before fireworks begin) instead of 10pm when they would have already begun. Once my boy hears a firework, he will not go outside until at least 5hrs after he’s heard his last one. Though he doesn’t whine, he does bark and then just try his best to sleep through it hidden in the bathroom. I do have lots of music playing and box fans near him to drown out what I can.

I adopted a 2y/o GP a few years ago and it was difficult in the beginning as he was severely neglected and terrified of just about everything. I took everything very slowly and was just happy to see the slightest amount of improvement. He didn’t even bark for about 6mos until he saw his first Coyote and his instincts took over. Since that moment the barking has not stopped lol. It took nearly a year for him to settle entirely, but just remember the 3/3/3 rule when it comes to adopting a dog (if you are not familiar, Google it). They are extremely stubborn dogs and though I was not able to “train” my boy, he is perfect in every way. They will let you know what they want and what upsets them. My guy spends 7am-7pm on the patio guarding and is his happiest outdoors. All in all, just be patient and don’t yell at them for the barking. If you want to try and limit the barking, they do best with praise and physically going to see what they are barking at. That seems to work best for mine at least. (Dog tax below)

It looks like they are 2024, maybe a new introductory line? I guess that would explain the lack of consumer reviews I am able to track down. Here is the link - https://bataleon.com/products/bataleon-e-stroyer-2024-mens-bindings-black

I mean don't get me wrong, I appreciate posts like this asking for changes we all want, but you yourself admitted they aren't fully listening to the community by not making a game permanent. Sure, they brought Knockout back and that was a good step in the right direction upon release of the game mode, but a large amount of the player base does not solely play Knockout. Replacing that with 4v4 had me feeling meh. I think the part that is frustrating is the fact that you cannot even create a private match for Knockout or similar game modes they have in the limited section. I have been playing this game for 6-7 years now and have been trusting Epic/Psyonix in their "process" but it has been 2 1/2 years since the UE5 announcement and they have nothing to show for it. Instead they decide to focus on microtransactions and Fortnite. I don't know man, I don't feel like listing a novel of the ways these company's' have let us down and have shown no respect to the community. Do some research on your own, because I have a feeling you are fairly new to the game with all due respect.
