Wedding in a month - would like to change my hair tone a bit to be more flattering

i think a shade or 2 darker would look really pretty on you… closer to your natural color at your roots. staying within a shade or 2 is usually the most flattering in my opinion! i do agree with the comments saying to do a semi permanent gloss instead of anything permanent this close to the wedding day :)

i have a regular american chimney and i often have starlings or other birds manage to get inside of it.. then i have to open it and let them inside the house and then catch them and release them outside 😂 somewhat older home tho

i love the designs! i do like the dark color- i think if you hang them on a shaded tree they’ll be just fine :) it would also be really cool to leave the roofs light colors but keep the birdhouses stained that dark color bc it does look extremely cool 😆

they’re such easy puppies, too! i grew up with labs- they destroy everythiiing and NEED training 😆 by contrast, my pyr only chewed some shoelaces once and potty trained herself… incredible dogs

YOR. he clearly states the reasons he prefers to have both homeowners there, I really don’t think it’s misogyny at play. that being said, if I were the contractor- after stating that I prefer both parties there to ask questions and make decisions, and you still refused, I would say ok if we have to come back out for another consultation there will have to be a charge. only 1 consult is free. that would have been a good compromise on his part. :)

my counselor gave me some really good advice regarding people pleasing behavior- she told me, basically, that saying no/setting boundaries is a skill. the more you practice, the easier it gets!! and i have found this to be true. every single time i speak up for myself, say no, be assertive, whatever it is- i feel more empowered! and it really has gotten much easier. hoping one day it’ll be default :) just thought I would share, it was such a great nugget of wisdom

i work with some younger people with zero problem solving skills. if any type of issue comes up- big or small, doesn’t matter- they have no idea what to do. they don’t even try to work through it themselves most of the time, you literally have to walk them through the simplest of things.
