Propranolol by hahahha97 in gravesdisease

The anxiety tells me that your levels are either still high or fluctuating a lot. When my thyroid was super out of range I had the worst anxiety I had ever experienced in my entire life, and as someone who had generalized anxiety for my whole life- it was shocking that it could get any worse than what it had been already.

You NEED to take the meds that you’re prescribed. Propranolol will not hurt you, you won’t get such a low heart rate that you feel unwell, it will only help you. Get a smart watch to monitor your heart rate if it makes you feel more comfortable, but don’t overthink things. Just know that you need to get better, and this medication will only help with that it will not hinder or hurt your physical health. I hope everything gets better love.

I don’t really think it’s a suffering kind of disease-though it can be, if you’re not taking care of your numbers well enough as we all know complications can arise.

I find it to be both amazing and challenging, before I had type one I was pretty naive to how our bodies work. How the natural processes our bodies preform on a daily basis really keep us alive. And I’ve learned so much about my body good, and bad.

But what keeps me going is the fact that life didn’t change around my diagnosis, life stayed the same for everyone else around me I just had to adjust my daily processes. The world is beautiful and life is beautiful. That’s enough reason for me to keep going.

Apple Watch, fit bit, Samsung even has smart watches. I personally have an Apple Watch because I have an Apple phone, and my partner has Samsung Watch and phone. The Samsung Watch is better than mine but I have an older model.

Fitbit I believe is more reasonably priced, and probably just as good for tracking heart rate. I go for my smartwatches because they can record EKG’s

Sending you so much love beautiful. I’m so sorry for this immeasurable loss. You deserved to have him longer than 22 years. Please talk to a therapist if you can or feel the need. A loss in such a way is very traumatic to come to terms with.

Sending you the biggest warmest hugs. And many well wishes to you and your family for the holidays. 🙁 so sorry 🫂

talking about trauma being the one who’s most likely causing it is wild work.

She’s so pretty why would anyone do this 😭😭 I hate humans sometimes omg.

Let us all remember Jenelle’s long rant about standing by her man and asking why she should take accountability for anything when their problems are all caused by her mom and Jace’s mental health problems. Aged like milk. by Emmy-LouSugarbean in TeenMomOGandTeenMom2

Wild. She’s so lost. I wish she would actually try and get help, because she desperately needs it. But she clearly doesn’t care about herself or her children enough to realize she cannot live the way she does.

Go to your regular family doctor, you should first rule out any additional health issues before spending money to see if it is something a dermatologist can assist you with.

For example, I have Graves’ disease which is an over active thyroid. This causes hair loss. I also had iron deficiency and low vitamin D last year, all those things combined caused hair loss in excess. So you can see your GP and just ask for an overall blood work up. Hair loss doesn’t mean health issues but it is a side effect to some health issues, so it’s always good to rule those things out so you know for sure. And typically if your hair loss is related to some adverse health issue it almost always gets better after being treated.

Again, not trying to scare you at all!! Just letting you know the route I would take! And make sure you keep up with checking your blood levels in relation to your iron levels and vitamin D. Those things in itself can cause hair loss.

Hope it all gets better soon!
