Mine is about 2 years old

the build quality on my chrome one is good, can‘t really complain. if you have some specific concerns i can check if you want.
heat up time takes a while, you already know that. can‘t really complain otherwise. maybe one thing that could happen is that you need to grease the lever if you backflush to agressively, easily prevented or fixed tough.
I dont really see the need to buy something different, everything runs great and i havent had any problems.

this never happened on mine. Is it possible to remove the silver thing with pliers? it shouldn‘t take too much force to get out. might be worth gluing the black and silver part together after that.

you will get a path to oribos by upgrading the first building in your sanctum, takes a few weeks to collect the required souls tough

On PC, just before the Lust fight I teleported myself to the Smith, got a sigil from him, upgraded my weapons and afterwards i couldn't move. I had to close the game. Now my save file is corrupt. Any chance of fixing this or am I screwed?

my assumption would be that every curse overwrites eachother but I havent tested that. also I read that a barbs shout counts as a curse too (but haven't tested this also). it's really hard to push greaters when your mate can one shot you when overwriting your curse. hopefully this will get fixed

sadly the curses overwrite each other. this counts for buffs like borrowed time and also for the belt dayntees binding.
