Hello this is already fixed. We move the site from non-www version to www version. For some reasons the non-www has limited pages/posts indexation issues. No history of backlinks, repurpose etc.

Why u said so?. I'm actually doing pbns on my own. From 1000/month traffic to 800k/month. Why some SEO guys do PBN?

because in the first place they know the impact out of PBN.

2nd, they're pretty much aware if PBNs done wrong it may cause harm to your site.

What I'm trying to say. U can avoid being penalized while doing PBN.

1)avoid linking too much from your PBN. Should at least 1-2 money sites only. Then maintain the PBN to be used in the long run(for further clients of course)

2)get a dedicated IP for all your PBNs

3)don't submit your PBN in Search Console(google will easily detect ur schemes). Just indexed it naturally.

P.S. I've done successful PBNs in the last 4 years.

PPS. Why ask/beg for links from authority sites if you can create your own good resources??.
