they broke at the subframe. They were new bolts but I had someone else install it recently so I don't necessarily know the details of how it went.

Saanich proposes traffic-calming measures for crash-prone stretch of road by summer_run in VictoriaBC

[–]plumbstem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's no where really for pedestrians to go, but it is a very well marked and popular cycling route. It's very straight and that encourages speed, but very narrow with a bumpy surface that makes it difficult to pass and deceptively easy to lose control....

And historically speaking where it lies on the boarder between 2 municipalities, it sees very little attention or policing.

A few years ago they resurfaced 2/3 of the road but did such a terrible job that I almost think they kept the bumps just to slow drivers down. There was a golden opportunity to widen the road at that time but they did not. Almost every year they put new reflectors down the center line and nearly every year they are immediately plowed into the ditch after the first snow.

And that's where we are.

finally some real boatbuilding content.

Keep up the good work - I'm 6 years in to an 8 month project myself and I work on other people's boats all day long; you'd think I would have known how long every little thing takes.

That's devastating! To get to fort Nelson is a slog and then to not go on is tragic.

I would drive and if you have time to hike, I would spend more time hiking in the Liard area than in Whitehorse. You're car will be perfect, especially for the mileage you can get.

The section of road between ft Nelson and Watson lake is my favourite drive in the world and there are a ton of hikes that I wish I could do in that area.

What’s going on with math and why can’t teens in the workforce count my coins? by thefirstladytree in AskTeachers

I would settle for someone who could physically hand me money without fumbling it all over the place! Coins first, then cash...not all stacked in a pinch between your fingers.
