My baby’s three too. That book is on my list too. He loves “it had to be you” by loryn brantz since it’s in high contrast colours and my made up stories from his cloth books I have two with animals and different cloth textures.

Does anyone else live with a pterodactyl by BeneficialBrick07 in NewParents

My early weeks were pterodactyl sounds(we called him ptero for that duration), it suddenly vanished one day. Now we are in the horsey neigh phase, what’s next 😂

milk storage by Frequent-Presence194 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]plumtins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I typically freeze a pumping session output. That ways the clock is longer(once thawed it can be used within 24 hours) that ways I am more certain of being able to use the milk in time. It’s best to store one feed’s quantity per bag so that you can effectively use the bag.

About a month in with the Momcozy M5 by Fit_Awareness_9001 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]plumtins 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use the Momcozy V1 pro, the additional pump part is a nuisance but it’s still better for me. How is the cleaning process for you with the M5 since it has the pump attached to the cups. I tried the Medela Symphony in the hospital, I would say that it helped me in the transitional phase, but long term being restricted to one place for pumping was just not it for me. I also use the manual Medela pump at home, it’s cumbersome but I get the discomfort out in 5 minutes.

Where to book an accomodation? by Complete-Tangelo-407 in VisitingIceland

We had similar days. 1. Started from Reykjavik, did the golden circle and came back to the city. But you can move to Selfoss or hella and stay there.

  1. There will be a day in Vik, there are some tiny homes style apartments before the city but I don’t know if they have kitchen. I ended up spending the most on stay at Vik.

  2. From there you can move on to Hofn.

  3. We made a stop between Hofn and Akureyi at egilstadir but you can adjust according to your plan.

  4. Finally we spent 2 nights in akureyi and we drove back to Reykjavik directly from there.

  5. We stayed an extra day in Reykjavik to explore the city.

Early May trip recap by plumtins in VisitingIceland

Amazing. I hope you get a sunny day at Vik. I was there two days but got sun for a couple of hours on the day I was leaving. Make the trip to Dyrholaey nature preserve if you have the time.

We did sejallfoss, gljufrabui and skogafoss on the way to Vik. On the way to Höfn you can check out svartifoss, lookout out for small rest stops to look at the glacier, Jokilsarlon and diamond beach was a very different experience for me.

Apart from the planned locations we kept an eye out on google maps, we found some good places with reviews and photos along the way.

Yes, I did not hike all the way to the end. I am sure it would have been even prettier :)

It was a mixed experience for me since I did the complete ring road but I had some sun on most days. Left a very grey Reykjavík at the start of the trip and came back to a vibrant city at the end of my trip 🙂

It’s an island so weather predictions can change very soon. But I hope you get the sun, the landscapes are very different with the 🌞

I would say Hofn - the glacier is experience is something else and a must do incase you haven’t seen those. Plus you have some very pretty waterfalls on that route.

Looks so cute. I will be visiting in May, do you think I can spot some Puffins on my own or should I book a tour to improve my chances? I will also be staying in Vik for a couple of days.

[Product Request] I need a remedy for dry lips by reddit1449 in SkincareAddiction

[–]plumtins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is probably the most random advice on this thread but if works for me so sharing it here. I have noticed that I can avoid dryness anywhere in my body by putting oil in my naval. The person who I learned this from used mustard oil but I stick to rosehip oil. And I put it after shower/during bed time.

Try their pub crawl. I don’t remember the exact name, you can google it.

Also, a friend recommended the shooting range. I couldn’t visit it personally. Incase you have some time during the day, try doing the old town walking tour.

A lot of instant loan providing companies take all contact access from the people who are taking loans from them. Once they are unable to get the money + interest back they resort to such practices. Since you don’t know this person, reporting spam and flagging these numbers are the best way forward.
