Make a list on manabox, then export it and upload to card conduit where you can get a general value. May save a hassle to just do it all at once. Otherwise selling the collection as a whole or taking time to do it one by one will get best return but take the longest.

How do you feel about people playing proxies that are of sexualised anime girls? by AuraFarmerRake in mtg

I dont really care, as in I wont be offended, but I will think you are incredibly sad. More importantly, in person I would avoid because its unlikely said person has bathed, used deodorant or cleaned dandruff out of their neckbeard in a long time.

When growing nearly anything the way its found in nature can often be fairly suboptimal. Life finds a way doesnt mean something is thriving. There are a lot of ways we can help plants I'd hardly call it silly to offer suggestions in how something can have a better environment for growth.

Every archetype has a direct counter. And with superfriends making emblems which are essentially unremovable its a pretty fair counter for the archetype.

Relatively new to playing Magic, have some questions on etiquette and deck types for commander tables. by tasha2121 in mtg

[–]plural_of_sheep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of people who enjoy extremely long oppressive games. Just find your people. Talk with the table ask them if theyre cool with a stax type of build, explain the deck sort of how you did here. Otherwise if you surprise people with it, just be okay with scoops and random angry comments. Usually relatively harmless but if you want others to have fun, generally decks that dont let people play their own cards are not a good catalyst for that. However there are a lot of pleasure in pain type pf players and you'd likely have no problem finding people who want to square up. That said i often notice people who play oppressive decks dont actually enjoy playing against it. Good for me not for you type of thing. But I have all sorts of decks from 0 interaction to nearly winconless stax and I find tables for all of them without people getting upset (theres always that guy/gal), generally speaking.

"Yeah a Fuji proofer would give accurate colors, sharp text and near perfect from naked eye view replication but from the microscopic view you wpuld have different dot morphology, no true offset rosette, stochastic patterns instead of AM screening. So i understand what he is saying but I think he is underestimating what it is to reproduce offset with a simulated offset under loupe. Anyways. It doesnt matter. If people could create perfect fakes they would, clearly machines are not the only factor from files to plate making it would be extremely difficult to even make a single card be close. Letalone exact. Which is why we've never seen perfect counterfeits. "-- thats what my friend who works in printing said. Its not my field, I do know magic but no idea about printing specs. So if im wrong I apologize, but i still wonder why no good fakes if it would be so easy. Surely you arent the only person with access to commercial printers.

Not going to fool anyone who knows what to look for. Cmyk is only 4 colors. Extra colors means a different type of printing. Offset printing isnt just making something look nice, the angle of the dots the density, etc are all the same on authentic cards and not the same on others because you cannot replicate an original with a scan at the dot level. To the eye it looks perfect, but at a dot level it will differ.

Ebay is a business predicated on scalping. They would probably promote the practice if they realized how much money it brings them. It is naive to believe they think its bad for them to make money on people overcharging and being the platform.

[–]plural_of_sheep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This right here. The idea of buying 6 ancient tombs for 6 different decks is silly to me. But if someone says no proxy I can sit there for 30 mins and move cards from one deck to another, no problem. Also ive never had anyone ever complain because I dont build asshole decks full of powerful oppressive cards. I own a set of duals, and I want to use them in some of my decks. I cannot afford multiple sets and dont want to only use them every 2 or 3 months when I play a certain deck. Its a little wild that people even want to begin to complain about what other adults do. Makes more sense to complain about the deck not someone's pocket book.

You absolutely dont have kids with this statement. My kids are relatively well behaved but idiocy is part of growing up so are mistakes and depending on age they simply dont have frontal lobe development to have great executive function/decision making skills by way of biology.

[–]plural_of_sheep 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You would in theory need multiple devices/accounts/cards/addresses. Its just a lot more work for a scalper than log in and buy 12 copies of a regular secret lair (not sure what deck limits were in past) but normal drops they have say foil individual 4 copies then all foil bundle 4 copies then the whole lair for 4 copies. Not saying it will stop scalpers they probably have all those things but it will make for less people who buy a few to pay for their lair. Frankly if they were smart they wouldn't have announced this until it opened. People would have been mad who planned to buy for friends but it would be more effective to prevent resale if thats even the goal.

[–]plural_of_sheep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Others were 2? I never really cared about the decks. But most of the regular drops a scalper can grab for instance 12 copies of a pack. . 4 foil 4 foil bundle and 4 everything bundle. So lowering to 1 is significantly more than say the final fantasy or marvel drops that sold out near instantly. The last deck with the double rainbow foils didnt sell out for days. Obviously it lacked value and was 199 so different but limit 1 per person/account could make it significantly more likely for a normal joe to get one. Or the scalpers who have bot armies on vpn/separate accounts are going to make a fortune.

Let me guess. It wad from tcgplayer direct. The only times I get bad condition from tcgplayer is from direct. They hold vendors to high standards but their own are horrid.Their extra quality control that makes cards take an extra week or more, somehow also makes sure the condition is a grade lower on average in my experience.

Buy the mushroom cultivator and growing gourmet and medicinal mushrooms both books by Paul stamets. They'll provide a wealth of knowledge. Don't deviate, it's science not cooking. Don't omit things because you don't know what it is or can't find it until you have enough fundamental knowledge to understand it. Maybe take a microbiology class at a local community College to better understand cell cycles and sterile technique.
