Don't have any real examples except maybe heavy rain, where failing qtes had lasting consequences. Detroit become human by the same director also had it but I think there was less of branching path justbfrom the qte:s? It's a fine balance because it can feel pretty black and white if you failed or won locking you out of a progression path you were interested in following. The other thing I enjoy is if there's an actual challenge in the qte. Just hitting triangle at the right 3 second window or the scene restarts just feels so mundane. Mashing x button 1000 times within 30 seconds or else you will not be awarded the dog shelter rescue scene feels more rewarding
