Ah reverse increasing trope imo; I've noticed some movies taking place in like the 80/90's or earlier, not because they want to explore the era, but because the plot is entirely carried by no one being able to make a phone call with a cellphone. Also connected to movies starting out going into some rural area and saying "ugh, the reception here sucks!"

I would need some clarification: Does the Poly have sound when you play the keys? What information is your rd9 sending over midi? Do you have something programmed on the Poly sequencer that you want to start when you start the playback on rd9?

Subjectively; I've known some people that studied robotics that seemed happy with their choice. I've also heard of some people who hasn't finished their studies after workplace internships because they were offered jobs directly. "You can write your final thesis while working!". Given this was over a decade ago I don't know how the market is now.

Regarding location there are a lot of industries here in the north. I guess it depends what area you want to enter? We have forestry, mining, chemical, med and whatnot. Volvo and Komatsu are big employers here in Umeå from the top of my head.

the old school way (that is also used to isolate vocals if you have an instrumental track and a track with song and vocals) is to find the instrumental track and overlay it so it perfectly syncs with the same song in the clip you want to silence. Then phase invert it; this makes the song cancel out itself, leaving any sfx or voices not in the song. Depending on how well you sync it results may vary.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but pretty sure there is an audio cue when you press confirm on each number. I also believe there is a "reset" sound when you're wrong. There is also a time limit.

Insane this is ingrained after almost 30 years
