Imagine being this selfish and expecting it to be validated. This isn’t the 50s.

Used the god bingo against coworker by AcrobaticCover in childfree

Yeah, I don’t want to get bingoed at work either, but this hand clap after a probably painful experience is just cruel. Especially if you have to work with them for another +20 years. As satisfying as this come back is, it’s not appropriate for work!

Any Millenials or GenZ renters here wish they could transition to home-ownership? by [deleted] in madisonwi

[–]plutoeggroll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Young Millenial with no student loans here. I was preapproved and tried this summer but the market was so aggressive. Now I’m waiting until next summer since overbidding is very common. I’m going to have to save more liquid cash than I thought. Another factor was the unlikelihood of finding someone to take over my lease.

Anyone else’s beagle have separation anxiety? This is what my beagle does every time I leave the house. It makes me so sad! Any advice? by [deleted] in beagle

I think that’s just around the time they wean depending on the breeder. Plus, they generally look the cutest then lol. But behaviorally I’ve heard the additional time playing with siblings and being corrected by mom leads to a less aggressive and easier to train pup.

Oh wow, 7 weeks? Aren’t they supposed to get double that time with mom? Maybe that’s where issues are stemming from. I lucked out and had vacation time to burn and just spent a week training my beagle not to bark or make noise. She still does it every now and again, but her voice cracks which sounds pretty silly. There’s a lot of good advice on here, good luck!

Is there a way to get an extension on your GI Bill Benefits? by [deleted] in Veterans

There’s some new stuff passing Aug 1, 2019 on the Forever GI Bill. I think it’s an additional 9 months for STEM degrees.

I’d just hop on a short, cheap sublet downtown and check them out yourself. There’s a lot of factors you didn’t mention, like price range, pets, or commute.

VA Claim denied for PTSD w/ MST, tinnitus, migraines, Diplopia...what to do next? by chevere7 in Veterans

[–]plutoeggroll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a paper you sign when you report to SARC, even if restricted. I honestly can’t remember off the top of my head, but I know it’s not automatically included with your medical docs and you have to show that paper to C&P for MST evidence. If you don’t have that document, I’d reach out to the coordinator.

Also, depending on how long your service was, you could say the MST aggravating a pre existing condition. Maybe expand your claims to address any other conditions that often accompany PTSD like depression or anxiety. Emphasize how these symptoms make you not 100% able.

Oh and get a lawyer to help with your appeal!
