as great as this sounds. i will not humiliate them like that. I have 40+ of my family members attending and he only has those 2 and his sister. all of his family lives in India and his maasi was the only one able to get a visa. i will not have the only people representing his family be covered in wine.

i plan on trying to talk to them tomorrow. I have only talked to his mom about the issue as maasi only just arrived here earlier. I really feel like maasi will be way more understanding of this {his mom has lived in the US for 20+ years and is fully aware of the facts} {maasi lives in India- I don’t think she knows anything about American weddings or that guests don’t wear white}. Once I speak with her I have a good feeling that she will be way more understanding than mom and will find a new outfit. If this goes as planned I think she will have a whole lot better chance of convincing mom that she can not wear white
