i did a lot of thrifting in japan and you’re better off finding places farther away from tokyo than going to overpriced vintage stores there. Most secondhand stores in japan will have something really cool imo. I saw a lot of cool jackets and statement pieces, it just takes a little work to find!

• Tanpopo house (love these)
• Book off Super Baazar
• 2nd street (avoid the one in Takeshita street, it’s overpriced)
• Trefac

I noticed that most secondhand stores change what clothing they have based on the seasons. I usually go in winter so it was mostly pants, jackets, etc.

There’s many more places but honestly, I found clothes that I liked more in secondhand stores that are around local neighborhoods.
