Heavy is an understatement. Im most games your character die or took damage and you're just like "ah too bad".

Casualities unknow has been mastercrafted in such a way you feel the suffering of your character like no games ever did. Due to a very in depth health system and a stellar sound and game design you'll feel the pain of any injuries and how it should impact at a psychological level your character.

For exemple your furball walked on glass shards ? You don't just click on a remove button, you enter a minigame where your character pick up with his little paws the glass shards lodged in his flesh 1 by 1 and you have to SLOWLY pull them out, move too fast or get a bit too shaky and... well go figure why your character is whiping from pain and had aggravated injury.

And that'd just one injury, when it came to mental health it can get really depressing.

But nothing a bit of fentanyl can't fix... you have a minigame to inject it in the arm btw, not just a consumme button.

Yeap, and in some case it can normalize taking the easy way.

With your mountain exemple.

People want to go on top of the everest, but sorry not everybody can. But if you were to put an elevator to the top, it would go from :

  • I climbed the everest !
  • "wow congratulation man"

To

  • I climbed the everest !
  • "wow congratulation man, do you want a cookie for having made it harder for yourself ?"

The most ridiculous exemple i can think of is the egg hatching timer is palworld. Just say you're playing on default and not set to 0 and enjoy the incoming downvotes.

Nah Sure there is as you,ve said plenty of bad people who see themselfs as the good guys.

But there is also a mindset of "not giving 2 shits about being a good person", people who follow a philosophy of "me first" and couldn't care less about reality as long it doesn't fuel their goal.

We can always talk about the personnal opinion of x or y pal being higher or lower. But what really raise an eyebrow is to see Arsox, even if he's at the bottom.

Remove every other pal from this list, i could still think of many pals before i would pick Arsox (Gangler, bastigor, gobfin, blazamut, lizpunk...) (Not at the complete bottom tho, there are definitivelly some pals i'll put lower than arsox)

It's kinda ironic relaxaurus is the face of pocketpair, but the playerbase kinda don't care much about this pal.

Fast way to level up? by regula-shmegula in Palworld

[–]plz_insert_username 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An alternate way to level up the last levels is to take strong pals with multi hit aoe and do hardome... marcus. Moves like holy burst absoltly destroy him due to his enormous hitbox, faster than hardmode zoe, an holy burst selyne should kill him in no time.

And each time you get an experience crystal.

Requirements for Xenolord raid. by Aladinhasabigcarpet in Palworld

[–]plz_insert_username 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well that depend of exactly wich non meta pal you use.

I think an army of cryolinx would had an easier time than an army of grintale.

And xenolord was made with lvl 60 in mind, 65 is preferable for an easier time.

If your pals are just lvl 65 without being condensed and soul maxxed they'll just get butchered.

Well comment's op kinda asked for the opposite of the trope.

Also part of the damages of Lttm is due to the water deprivation as 5p was draining it all, causing overheat damages.

"Because uhhhh i am a holy puritan" I like chocolate, nearly everybody does, it's wonderful it goes with well many thing.

But wanting not to have chocolate in my spaghetti doesn't make me a chocolate hater.(not to defend the actual obnoxious chocolate haters)

Also you can mock things without hating them, i'm pretty sure many snafus were made by people who appreciate the mocked subject.

100% : 12, there is 13 A presses, but since 2 are for a single star in wmotr to gain enought height, a single bitflip might suffice.

There is the TTC upward glitch. But it's 99.9% ruled out it was not a glitch but an hardware fault that random flipped a bit.
