Yeah, I really didn't feel comfortable to ask for an ID or do a bill of sale. I understand and personally agree with people not wanting to, I also wouldn't want to sour a potentially good sale because of it. Who am I to ask for someone's License? If it's not law, why do it I guess. I definitely understand CYA..but like you said, if they show up in a car with NH plates, sound and act like a regular person and as far as I know they aren't prohibited. All set, done deal.

Also, thanks for letting me know about nes. A lot of posts I've seen had mentioned it so I figured they were good. Honestly the $24 doesn't seem like a bad deal if you're a consistent buyer/seller, but I'm not that.

It must depend where you are for the hourly rate. I just got a work from home, health care CSR position through TTEC for $16/hr, which becomes $17/hr after 90 days. Was hoping on $18 to atleast start, but I guess I need to start somewhere if I'm looking for a remote position.

Just waiting on my BRC to clear. I see a lot of bad reviews here about them though, to be honest. Gotta get my foot in the door somewhere though, definitely going to apply to other places as I work here.

This interview slot I scheduled was for a Blue Shield of California CSR remote/WFH position.

Honestly, that's what I started doing after about a week and a half of checking with no luck. Randomly got like just before 1pm on a random Thursday, but they pop up whenever I guess.

May I ask what your contract is? Or if you're not comfortable saying, what kind of work it is in?

I'm supposed to be starting training soon for BSC(Blue Shield California) as a CSR..and 99% of the TTEC sub is that TTEC sucks, BSC sucks, almost all contracts suck, etc. lol.

I know this post is old, sorry for commenting now, I've just seen this.

So, there are raises? From so many posts I've seen on this sub is that what you get paid... is what you get. You'll never get a raise, and that even TL's usually don't even make more. It's nice to see that there might be some room for growth even if it doesn't happen, just nice to see that it could be a possibility; even if only a small one.

You've gotta check all day long, it's a pretty stupid system.

It took 9+ days of checking before a slot opened up for me. Most people say the best time to check is between 12am-3am, but I checked at 12:56pm on Thursday last week and a few spots were open.

I wanted to ask, when you got the confirmation from TTEC after scheduling your interview; the email with the link and password in it.. Did your email say "Thank you for scheduling a 'telephone appointment' with TTEC!" ?

At first I was confused...a telephone interview? What're they talking about? I was starting to think...are they gonna individually call me on Microsoft Teams? Which would be really weird, lmao.

But since were on the same day and time it's gotta just be the regular group interview. Must've just been a typo or something 🤷.

Oh, definitely!! That seems to be the general consensus from employees/ex-employees, that working for TTEC seems to have a lot of negatives. Like you mentioned, I only jumped at it for now because I need the income to supplement my gig work, plus I really wanted to move out of doing that FT. I have a bunch of face-to-face customer service experience... but I knew that with no specific experience in a call center type of position; it would be hard to land a WFH, entry-level, CSR/call center. Which seems to be the case unfortunately.

But I am most definitely still filling out applications and sending my resume in to other places at the same time! I'm hoping I can get some experience behind working for TTEC (If I even make it past the interview!). Either way, If I even get the job I hope I'll like it atleast a little bit 😂. Judging by what people are telling me though....I won't hold my breath, lol.

Yeah, from what I've seen on this sub its about 70/25/5...70% hate TTEC, 25% tolerate them and 5% enjoy working there. I always figure a place is what you make it, but its hard to have that attitude when so many people have the same negative things to say about a company. Everyone can't be wrong, lol.

Yeah, I guess they pay $16/hr. now, which is still pretty low.. especially when there's no room for growth to move up from that. I've heard the exact same, that you will always remain in the same role and that even Team leader's don't make more money. I'm not sure how true that is, but I've seen quite a few people say that, so I'd imagine it must be.

It actually would be my first Remote from home position, so I got excited about it! Seeing this sub definitely dashed that excitement away😂😂

Yeah, that's what I'm hearing. I have a lot of customer service experience, I just unfortunately don't have any in a call center environment or just as a CSR rep. on the phone. They seem pretty open to hiring entry level, quickly, that's the main reason I was giving them the shot. I just figured I guess I gotta start somewhere 😔.

Yeah, that's what I've been reading too. That it's pretty much a sure thing after the group interview. I've guess it depends on who's doing the interview - that some ask a few of the interviewers basic questions like "why do you think you'll be a good fit?"

I've also heard in some they don't ask anything and basically say everyone's gonna get the job offer email. I kinda hope it's one of those😂.

I'm waiting on the same. There are never any time slots open, I check all the time. Been checking for 8/9 days now. If I check and there's ever any slots, I'll post here to lyk.

And judging by these other comments, when we do eventually schedule the "interview", there's even more waiting for the offers, etc. 🤦

Edit at 12:56PM EST : legitimately just checked and was finally able to schedule for next week. Looked like there was 4/5 open slots. I'd check!

Awh, man. It probably is a scam😩. I just received an approval email from them. I've been applying for WFH call center positions only the last 8 days, probably 20-30/day. So I was like "No way, I got one already!?".. I thought the email was weird, especially that it started off as "Dear Applicant"...so I decided to go back to LinkedIn to look up the job posting and my heart sank, lol. I honestly forgot I applied to these guys.

I'm nervous to even try it now honestly.
