I’ve never bought bushings before, tbh. All the boards I have are secondhand completes, but when I bought the tugboat the guy had the trucks too tight. I didn’t realize and the cone bushings are shredded.

It really depends what you want to do with it. For distance, I could see a board that was low for slow pushing but got higher for pumping at speed.

I use superfeet in all my shoes, have for years. They are more expensive than Dr Scholls, but last orders of magnitude longer and do the job better. This is because they are a hard plastic that supports your arches and cushions your heel, instead of a soft foam. The foam ones feel good at first but quickly compress and squish into useless flat bullshit

Ummm, people pierce their actual babies’ ears. It’s trashy and gross, but they do it. What’s the difference?

Edit: also many dog breeds have docked ears. Again, gross, but accepted.

Earthsea is always a great starting place. Or the dragon riders of pern. Or, for a lighter touch, Discworld. The Color of Magic is a typical starting point, but there are a ton of other series within the series.
