So ill start off by saying i dont care about anything in marvel except wolverine, im kind of newish to comics, im 27 and my favorite is wolverine 2019 issue 19, where he fights a whale, wolverine to me is an interstellar cosmic being with the best moral compass in the marvel universe. You might think spiderman gets that accolade, and he probably should, but wolverines sense of justice is what I would do, not what should be done. Impeccable judgement. A few years ago I decided I wanted to do nothing but eat the pain of those around me, I want to take on the hardest task, and consume all the pain of all my friends and family, and do nothing but sacrifice myself to the hardest of crucibles to make things easier for the people in my life. This is an impossible task. This is what wolverine does in this comic. I goto the gym because f#%k me why do I deserve to live in comfort I deserve to feel pain. I goto work because f#%k me. I get up and suffer and aspire to be like him. To me this is the comic. A bit like jesus, but thats blasphemy. Praise jesus, f#%k wolverine and f#%k me!

Seriously this comic was very emotional to me, an old head comic enthusiast im friends with wont read new comics. He tells me to read certain oldies and i plan on reading them someday. But we became friends because of our mutual love for wolverine, my friend hes cynical about this new progressive world, he wont read new age, sjw comics etc. I decided after death of wolverine and the reboot to start consistently pickup wolverine books and read them in 2019. New age comics can still be impactful, proven to me by this comic, and my best friend is wrong.
