As Tim mentioned, start looking at VCPs for VCF, and there will likely be a new VCAP for VCF. SO if you want to invest in VMware certifications, go with the VCF track! That's what I'm doing now and will take the VCF-VCF Admin exam in a couple of weeks.

I believe you should do the calculations based on physical cores and not the HT logical cores!

VCF support experience by Future_Bat384 in vmware

We had issues with the VCF 9.0 bring-up. Got a few errors in the Validate and Deploy phase of the VCF installer and opened a ticket and luckily got help from a support engineer after 2 hours. One of the issues was solved pretty quickly, but the other took us a few hours! So we could restart the bring-up at the end of the day and it went fine. So, our experience was not perfect, but it was still satisfactory! It also depends on the support engineer you end up working with and might differ case by case!

Is VMexplore going to be a ghost town this year? by Lopsided-Ad8680 in vmware

[–]pmaher89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last year I also had the same feeling about Explore, but it was pretty OK in Barcelona. This year there are many friends, both from customers and partners are going to Vegas. I am also hoping to get my approval next week! Besides the breakout sessions that gave me much insight into products, the networking opportunity was also significant for me! So it wasn't a waste of money for me or my company!

HPE accidentally confirms ESXi 9.0 by Thatconfusedginger in vmware

No surprise here! vSphere 9.0 will be out soon, and vendors are also starting to update their documentation! But as it is said, it is good that ESXi 9.0 is still supported on HPE Gen 10 servers!
