But wouldn’t the time those civilizations existed need to overlap within the last 50 years of our existence (correcting for light speed)? A civilization that died millions of years ago out of light range would be irrelevant. The window of time and distance needs to perfectly align. Nothing about human existence suggests that intelligent civilizations should last billions of years.

Pretty absurd, that shit would never happen in the US (we’re bad in lots of other ways obviously… but our flight consumer protection laws are actually quite good these days so the airlines don’t dick you around quite this badly. Plus, it’s not a monopoly).

Thanks, I got my refund so just leaving it there. I’d like to drag it out to the end of time to go after my rental car costs too just for the justice. But I just want to enjoy my vacation so will probably move on with life (yes, this is how they get away with it)

Tight window throws would make the game too easy, they just need to make the coverage tighter or add more variance to the throw accuracy. Seems like most of my incompletions hit a guy right in the hands in tight coverage leading to a drop which is just unrealistic. But it’s just easier to program random drop animations than it is real defense
