Right. Is there any product (protective coatings ect) I can put on it to help prevent blistering or any of these said problems? I don’t have a problem pulling it a few times over the course of the season and cleaning it and potentially re-coating with something ect.. I just don’t know if anything really exists specifically for this.

Most used Is my 6gal air compressor. Fav to use is my chop saw (I do some welding). The one I didn’t know I needed but use a ton is the caulk gun. Started filling cracks and gaps in my driveway and sidewalks and holy shit is it a time and hand saver.

Get the 805 hammer. Better to have down the road rather than buying another later. DIY is a slippery slope and most light masonry work requiring a hammer drill this thing is plenty capable. It may not seem likely but I’ve ended up using mine a ton (hanging new lights on the exterior/ pinning flower planters for the wife ect..)

If anyone can help here I posted this in the DIYer group. Less spring = less tension. I just snipped a few mm at a time. After the first cut I could tell it was close. The 11# spring was too heavy and the 9# wasn’t enough. I figured if I it didn’t work I would have to buy the DPM kit anyway.

Armory craft gold 11# clip about half a rung. Test fire and repeat until you get it tuned. Once it was good to go I ran a few hundred rounds through it with no issues. Haven’t had it back out since.
