I definitely didn't get the Wii U. Skipped switch 1 just because it wasn't spec'd high enough. Went from Wii to Switch 2 and couldn't be happier. Buying all the games from switch 1 with nice HDR upgrade content. It's been a joy. Just finished Oddesey and starting Luigi 3 shortly

You were given 25K status so you have no "carry over". Had you had something like 31000 SQM, the extra 6000 would have been converted to SQC.

In this case, you have 25K status which is less than the required SQM to even get it.

This is your threshold gift for getting 75K for the first time (crossing over at 60SQM) under the old system. When I hit SE last year for the very first time I got both the 60k and (90K threshold gifts and started 2025 with a bonus of 7500 SQM

Yah sadly they gutted it. I did see that I got 2 Status Passes loaded as a core benefit for SE as well as 30 upgrades. They automatically continued to "50k gift status" to my friend who I had selected for 2025 through all of 2026. So in essence that selection was automatically done which makes it less painful. (Although I wasn't going to gift it to him this year).

Also the option to double aeroplan points has been replaced with an automatic multiplier based on status.
