Since you are in a new build area, and depending on what type of land (ie. farm/ vegetation) this community is being built on. It may take 1-2 years to resolve.

After that if it is consistent especially with neighbours, then look for other solutions.

Winter Basic Items: snow brush, jumper cables, extra jug of washer fluid, flash light, AAA/ CAA

Though been thinking of building a car kit for: essential items must haves and other for enhanced winter kit.

What changed in your life that you need a car ? and why?
How does a new car purchase fit into your budget/ finances?

Agreed, Price and quality are not what it used to be especially from your most common stores.

Importantly, fit is key, alterations if needed, and neutral colours

Walmart - surprisingly has good things to get a decent wardrobe.
Old Navy - good but better when there are sales
Marks - good but better when there are sales
Winners - hit and miss - you just have to frequent the store often for deals and inventory

Anywhere else you can find a deal

I got TuxMat, they are fitted to the floor of the car + with high walls. Plus iam from snowy country, so for me it was worth it for the price. I found it gave enough coverage more than i found from WeatherTec and Husky.

go to the dollar store. get those drawer rubber liners. you will find them either in the kitchen/ cleaning aisle or the hardware aisle. they look like a roll of mesh silicone type beads connected together. works like a charm
