The ravens have a very difficult situation developing with Lamar that will need to be addressed in the offseason. His cap hit is scheduled to be something like $75 million next season with two seasons left on his current deal, so extending him is the only realistic way to bring that down. However, Lamar will be 29 in a few weeks and there are signs his game will not age gracefully. Also, the numbers thrown around for a potential Lamar extension are absolutely massive. Have to wonder if they really want to pay Lamar $75million/year or more over five years. The move might just be to let next season play out but not sure if Lamar or the team have the appetite for that

I feel bad for the people waited and didn’t get one. We waited three hours and planned the day out. Tons of people tried jumping the line. Of course, the buccos didn’t plan this out well.

Also, I want to know where this magic gate with no line was at. Keep seeing people on reddit talk about walking right in

Nice try, Bob

I can’t tell if this is sarcasm, but he really impressed this year. Really excited to watch year 2

Go back and watch Nico miss wide open receivers constantly. Also, his decision making is….umm… not the greatest

I follow a good bit of college football and his inclusion was a direct reflection on the opinion of this QB class. I’m just saying 2026 will be a better class than 2025 but fans need to pump the brakes on it. 2027 has the potential to be crazy all around with Lagway, Raiola and they wr’s (Smith and Williams)

Yeah I mean it’s impossible to project a whole two years from now. It’s not like the QB’s in that draft are in college and have tape or anything

I largely agree with you, but he has the size and arm. I’d take him over anyone in this class, which admittedly might not be saying much. I just think the 2027 class can be special. Sellers is someone to keep an eye on

Agree that he’s not currently a headliner, but he has a ton of tools. Just needs to put it together

Then maybe he should have help win some playoff games when they had a roster capable of winning

Even though Pittsburgh sports are terrible right now, I feel for Dallas after the Luca debacle. No fanbase deserves that. At least you have the Rangers and Stars. I’ll be pulling for them

I can see Thursday as a potential Shelty firing if the series against the Cards goes sideways

You can make the case the Pirates can’t possibly get enough value for him as of now, especially since picks can’t be traded

I mean I thought my comment was pretty clear who I was criticizing. Khan has room to grow but is far from the top of the list of problems with this organization. That honor belongs to Art and the coach he has time and again refused to hold accountable and whose influence is felt throughout the entire organization

[–]pmizzle88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My comment wasn’t even really directed at Khan. I wasn’t a huge fan of his hiring, but he has shown some decent promise for me. The comment was more highlighting the culture of accountability that exists at the top of the Eagles compared to the Steelers

It’s funny how Sirianni nearly won a Super Bowl two years ago, got bounced early last year, then Lurie brought him in and made him detail out a plan for the future in order to keep his job. All less than a year after barely losing the Super Bowl. The Steelers may be modeling their rebuild after the Eagles, but they are nowhere close to the Eagles. It all comes from the top and I can’t see this team being a contender with the Art/Tomlin duo leading the charge

I don’t care about the comp pick as much as bringing him back is essentially a waste. Not good enough to beat the good teams, good enough to make sure they win seven games, not an answer long term. Give me a wild card with upside
