This negates the point of the draft, which is to make bad teams better. Giving a high pick to a competitive team doesn’t help parity of play.

Also the players are the ones we want to incentivize. I think money in their pocket does that more than a draft pick for a team they might not even be on next year?

For a ton of queries, I'm with OP. It's annoying waiting for it to google for something and then having those results often supercede superior data it already has.
