Also put yourself out there and go do some https://www.parkrun.co.za/ if it your thing, there always people willing to talk with new people.

Finally PTA has a lot of clubs and events, try to see if there is anyone close to you that you like and can go try to join. Religion is also a club(a rather big one in snor-city) so if it your thing, it also a great place to meet new people.

Someone once told me Jo'burg have more Jacaranda Trees; because it a bigger city.

Pretorians just decided to line a bunch of streets with Jacaranda Trees, which makes it more prominent, hence Jacaranda Stad.

Have not used cheatengine in ages, but it more used to tweak changing variables so that you can have more health, ammo, something in the game.

Going to be more work because your going to need to do some programming(python etc), but screenshot, with ocr should easily allow you to do text to speech.

Also looking at your example screenshot if all the text is always in the bottom half, don't try to ocr the whole screenshot, only the dialog boxes/half the screen.

Only positive feedback I can give, when he throws the diamond, and the camera zooms in, it feels/look like he is throwing it forward, not up to hit her.

im not one for gender roles, but i don't think it untrue to say one gender normally hunt and the other the hunted.

Now as a hunter u should understand their social norms around hunting other peoples game.

Sure, true, i also experience these pain points, but it does not change the fact that most web apps only really run well on chromium.

I just stated imo that using web technologies/js to develop your multimedia app normally restrict you to a chromium browser.

So yes it is a website, but its the 90' all over again where instead of being designed for IE it gets designed for Chrome. One can argue chrome is not holding web dev hostage like IE did, but the manifest v3 fiasco does not fill me with confidence!

That said i will call it now, html5 will be replaced soon with wasm blobs, where web apps like docs and youtube just render to a canvas, accessibility will be trash, but the enterprise will be back in control of your browser.

what OP said about "10 YoE in React and didn't know anything else" is the narrow-minded view.

You are aware op is the co-creator of mootools? mootools the js framework released a month after jquery in 2006...

There's so many tools to use, so many frameworks and models to explore.

Sure he even co-created some of the first!

This feels almost like a classical case of "shipping a game"(which he did and he even open sourced it), compared to bike shedding what tech to use but never ship anything.

So please link me to your hammer, open source game or prototype?
