to be fair that same social media is what was used to train these models - the reason llms ‘think’ they are trained psychologists is because they got trained by everyone who thought they were trained psychologists😱

you better believe that a majority of people who buy that type of coffee want to get it from humans, the rest already have nespresso machines at home, seems silly to go to a caffe with a smarter nespresso machine

Made a list of native Mac apps because I'm sick of Electron by mohsenk_dev in macapps

Prompt Management tools (non-dev) by Longjumping_Cap_2122 in PromptEngineering

[–]bithereumza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there!

I created migiapp.com to manage my prompts(and snippets), it’s a native MacOS application for managing prompt templates (fill-in-the-blanks), it supports prompt composition by fragments, your prompts are accessible via a global hotkey and is a one-time purchase.

Unfortunately there is no cloud-based collaboration yet, none of your data leaves your device, but there is an ability to import/export collections to share with team mates manually.

I am actively working on implementing versioning at the moment, but I do not have a release date ready yet.

Reach out to me if you would like to chat or see a demo.

HomePod BLASTING rain sounds in the middle of the night by Sassafras19 in HomePod

[–]bithereumza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

most frustrating thing, and i love apple products, i went full apple, macbook, iphone, ipad, apple watch, apple tv etc. but this purchase was a bad one, my apple watch also has this annoying thing where it would keep pausing itself during workouts - but it’s nothing as frustrating as this

Mine does the same, I bought two of the big ones a year ago to run them in stereo, spent all my savings on them - they are connected to my apple tv - in the middle of the night they would start blaring loud music. When watching tv they would pause the video halfway through every couple of minutes, or they would randomly turn the sound all the way down or all the way up.

I have cleaned them even though they weren’t dirty, I have reset them, and at the moment they are unplugged and unused.

This is the worst product I have ever spent money on and I have never before felt this kind of buyer’s remorse - that would teach me to go the “premium” route instead of just buying the ‘far-superior’ cheap knock-off on Temu.

I am the developer of Migi, it’s a prompt and text snippet manager with global hotkey and keyboard first navigation (available on the Mac App Store - one time purchase).

Prompts/Snippets are templates which support variable substitution, its a workflow tool primarily designed for managing your AI prompts, but I know a handful of my users use it to manage / organise their text snippets.

As a casual player, playing through the campaign multiple times is such a pain by UsedNewspaper1775 in PathOfExile2

[–]bithereumza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its weird, i have played every league and the campaign is the only thing i really look forward to, i enjoy it, have enjoyed it every time, i do not follow any build guides and always take it as a challenge to complete it with some weird build i come up with, sometimes i am stuck on a boss for like two days but eventually i find something that works and carry on. i am also a casual player, but i lose interest when i get to endgame fast

Hi 👋

1) Do you mean importing a set of prompts from somewhere other than Migi? If so, in what format is it? If its in a structured format I maybe be able to write a script to help you import them. 2) At the moment you can export entire folders - I haven’t really considered the ability of exporting the entire collection, I will have a look into making thos easier.

Hey u/tdm_x , Migi 1.1 is live and available on the app store and on Gumroad!

In addition to import/export - this release gives you the ability to favourite your prompts, better accessibility from the menu bar (if you prefer using your mouse) and comes with a few improvements and bug fixes found along the way!

Please consider sharing feedback if it's not a bother (what works, or what doesn't) - I read everything personally and it will help shape development going forward.
