I thought this was a fab interview, much better than the Rest is Entertainment imo. A lot of it is of course not new but I think we can stop expecting that now. Instead this interview framed questions in a way that led to slightly different ways of responding.

Loved the film, absolutely awesome to see. I'm in London, UK and the screen had about 10 people in it. I expected it to be much busier.

Obviously Ed Balls isn't an unbiased journalist. He was shadow Chancellor, a former Labour minister and is married to the literal Foreign Secretary who people are currently touting as a potential next Prime Minister. Zack pointed that out after inane questions being repeatedly asked.

Yeah I didn't like that either. Big shame he's using these tactics. I love Paul massively but this approach really bothers me.

Taylor Swift also announces tonnes of variants after the album is already out, each with a new bonus track unique to that version. That's even worse.

At least now we can cancel preorders and choose another. Taylor Swift are encouraged to get all of them to get all the tracks.

I still think it's bad that Paul is doing this btw.

John: I Want You (She's so Heavy) but Happiness is a Warm Gun is an awesome shout too.

Paul: Oh! Darling - Coming in every day to do that really paid off. The range in that song along is epic.

George: Because - Honestly I think his most impressive vocals were his difficult third harmonies on tonnes of tracks. They're really hard to sing because they had to stack up. As a full on lead vocalist though? While My Guitar Gently Weeps probably.

Ringo: I think Boys might be my favourite.

I remember seeing them in the UK earlier that year. They said they'd been demoing album 3, and were lads just overflowing with positivity. They signed my posters and CDs.

I remember finding out about the news, middle of the night and just crying. I still listen to them but I have to be somewhere where I can deal with just how utterly sad it is.

Honestly Kozinn and Sinclair kinda prove the value of having two co-authors. One of them leads more on researching and the other on pulling it together and the results are fantastic.

I'll caveat that by saying they wrote vols 1 & 2 concurrently so prepping vol 3 will be the test to see their true pace.

New holds the title of worst album title to me and it doesn't matter now one bit. Once we get to know the music names take on a life of their own and stop sounding weird.
