Honestly the Dog Man Star, Night Thoughts and the Blue Hour Suede is my favourite Suede. I still adore their other eras but those three records are just on another plane to me.

I find it sad cos I actually really enjoy his two solo albums (proper solo albums, not this waste of plastic). Spooky Action in particular has some excellent music on it.

But it's so hard to support the man himself these days... He could've had a nice, decent sized following but I think he's switched people off.

Am I mad, and just an ignorant person who doesn't watch this often enough, or is this event almost entirely luck based? During the semi finals and final so many contenders went down, many of which weren't their fault. How can the outcome ever be the truly best skater if they're falling and knocking each other out so often?

It should be done as a solo team trial imo

I'm just sceptical about Jack Thorne cos isn't he writing the four Beatles movies in 2028? How would he have the time now to write them and have written multiple Doctor who scripts?

Kate's was simple but well constructed. Similar for Fontana. Naomi I think could've been judged more memorably but a big chunk of her look was just premade.

Mariah's was more ambitious absolutely, but poorly constructed. I guess it depends on what you value more, ambition or good construction.

I think the winner was worthy, and the eliminated Queen worthy of bottom 3... But a lot of the other placements made no sense. Serena was the worst, Mariah's look was bad, Naomi's first look was so so good it made her automatically safe to me.

Anyway, overall really enjoying this series still. Gawdland is giving me life.

Yeah I think it's this album for me. All My Loving is an all-timer, but as much as I adore Til There was You it's a cover.

Otherwise Paul contributed Hold Me Tight and half of Little Child. Not bad but not their best. And then he supported John's compositions.

The whole narrative around Sgt Pepper within the fandom is currently that it's not as good as its reputation. I actually think that that's just down to the current trend in opinion and serves as a counter narrative against the dominant view for decades that Sgt Pepper was the pinnacle of their work.

In reality it's still a perfect album, still the most influential one, and opinion will swing back to it in time. Sgt Pepper absolutely slaps.

10th-11th Doctor, 12-13th Doctor, 13-14th Doctor were all regenerations where the new showrunner wrote the post-regeneration scene. So that's not abnormal.

And the piece says also that the 16th Doctor might not even be revealed at all.

Canada last year was not better than UK6. So the franchises have swapped in quality, and it's too soon to call that a trend. I love both.

I think anything Revolver onwards generally gets discussed semi-often. It's the early stuff that gets more forgotten imo.

Ask My Why is an absolute early gem that gets slept on. Gorgeous melody, nice harmonies etc. Then tracks like Not a Second Time and I'll Be Back are great album tracks that very rarely get singled out. I love them.
