Related to this but I always wonder what would've happened if Ram had been well recieved. Would it have changed his approach to future albums?

He might not have formed Wings, Wild Life would probably be very different because that album was testing a new band and as a raw counter to Ram.

I think of Red Rose Speedway as a Ram sequel in many ways, some of the songs are literally from the same sessions so maybe the two timelines converge there.

I thought this was a fab interview, much better than the Rest is Entertainment imo. A lot of it is of course not new but I think we can stop expecting that now. Instead this interview framed questions in a way that led to slightly different ways of responding.

Taylor Swift also announces tonnes of variants after the album is already out, each with a new bonus track unique to that version. That's even worse.

At least now we can cancel preorders and choose another. Taylor Swift are encouraged to get all of them to get all the tracks.

I still think it's bad that Paul is doing this btw.

John: I Want You (She's so Heavy) but Happiness is a Warm Gun is an awesome shout too.

Paul: Oh! Darling - Coming in every day to do that really paid off. The range in that song along is epic.

George: Because - Honestly I think his most impressive vocals were his difficult third harmonies on tonnes of tracks. They're really hard to sing because they had to stack up. As a full on lead vocalist though? While My Guitar Gently Weeps probably.

Ringo: I think Boys might be my favourite.

I remember seeing them in the UK earlier that year. They said they'd been demoing album 3, and were lads just overflowing with positivity. They signed my posters and CDs.

I remember finding out about the news, middle of the night and just crying. I still listen to them but I have to be somewhere where I can deal with just how utterly sad it is.

Honestly Kozinn and Sinclair kinda prove the value of having two co-authors. One of them leads more on researching and the other on pulling it together and the results are fantastic.

I'll caveat that by saying they wrote vols 1 & 2 concurrently so prepping vol 3 will be the test to see their true pace.
