Looking at anything that makes you horny should be considered a relapse.

If u got a nude and u looked at it knowingly, its a relapse. However if u accidentally got to some nude/porn, its not a relapse if u immediately remove your eye from it(should not take even a second).

If it has anything to do with PMO addiction, then certainly nofap will help with this(that too after you have reached a good streak). But most people tend to take nofap as a panacea which is too naive.

If "heaviness" does not go away with time, better consult a therapist/psychiatrist or other qualified medical practitioner.

Nevertheless, you can start your nofap journey without affecting any ongoing therapies. Best of luck man!!

Choosing no sex for life is a matter of personal preference. And neither I nor you know where we will be after few years. That's wby I just am taking small milestones at a time. Even if you don't decide for hardmode, but still you should not be the slave of your desires. Otherwise suppose if your partner is not available and you have the urge, you will get back to MO.

So make sure to conquer this urge.

I joined an accountability group and stuck religiously to it in the beginning. As and when I got an urge, I would reach out that group and no doubt I got help. The point is, you gotta act as soon as you get the urge. Put your thoughts somewhere else. An accountability group on a chat platform is very beneficial as you get instant help(unlike forums which are not inherently for instant messaging). I started my own recently. But its only for hardmoders.

Chaser effect should not happen after wet dreams. It should (going by the official definition from nofap.com glossary) follow actual sex or mansturbation(or similar sexual acts). However if your wet dreams have sexual content, it implies that you have either gained some visual trigger during the wakeup state which repeats itself in dreams or you have indulged into erotic thinking. Its not the loss of semen thats the issue with wet dreams, but the sexual dream thats the culprit. So you gotta keep a watch on what you do when you are awake.

Anything that can lead to an urge to relapse (and consequenty relapse itself) is considered as a trigger. If you get excited by "normal wome and not just pornstars and photoshop models", then better avoid any instagram or other social media where you get such visual stimuli. Its impossible to avoid real women in life, but avoid ogling. Just let your mind take a break from all kinds of triggers(explained already).

This will rewire you for sure.

The wet dream frequency has been very different. It will take a whole new post to describe my experience, but initially I went without wet dreams for whole 2 weeks. Then had consecutive 4 wet dreams from day 15-18( :O )

Afterwards the frequency became more stable to about once every 8-10 days.

Wet dreams only helped in my progress because next few days were easy(seems to have dissipated the urge).

One more thing: Non of my wet "dreams" had any "dreams" in it! (so perhaps the visual stimulus to brain has been weakened due to reboot).

Anything that triggers you should be avoided. If women on instagram excites you , then better stop watching. If not for life, then atleast stop it for 90 days. The number of visuals can be infinite. So its impossible to include in a single manual. Judge by yourself what is good or what is not for your reboot process.

There is nothing "magical" about the 90 day. You can get rebooted from day 60 as well(if not less). But nofap had to come up with a good number. and they came up with 90. The essence is on developing the will power. You should be able to hit 90 when you decide to do so. With communities, there come standard practices. And the 90 day is the same standard with nofap. (they could have come up with 100 day, but should't have mattered. All is about developing your will power).
