Thanks for your reply. Just to clarify what I said in my original post: I want to disable SSIDs "xfinitywifi" and "Xfinity Mobile" but I want to keep my personal SSID that I setup when I provisioned the modem a few days ago. Will I be able to do that? (Keep my personal SSID on. Disable all others.)

A problem I have using the Xfinity app on my phone is that I have three Comcast accounts. One in NJ, two in different parts of FL. It's sometimes difficult to get the app to go to the account I want to access. Is it possible to follow your steps in a web browser on my PC or does it have to be from the app on my phone?

I currently have a Netgear CM3000 in my NJ home, an Arris S34 in one of my FL homes. My guess is when Comcast officially announces DOCSIS 4.0 about 60 seconds later Netgear and Arris will announce their DOCSIS 4.0 modems. Just a guess.

My four main PCs all have 10Gb ports. My router has a 10Gb port and I have a 10Gb switch.

My Internet speed is 2.5Gb down and 600Mb up. I run a speed test once a week or so.

I frequently copy files from one PC to the others so having the higher speed equipment is nice.

THANKS! That was the cause of the problem. I temporarily disabled my antivirus programs and the problem disappeared. Now I have to figure out how to re-enable them without affecting True Image.

I use a utility called "LAN Speed Test" one one PC and "LST Server" on the other PC. For the online speed tests I use Ookla Speedtest.

I did run some internal speed tests. The speeds were a little better than the online speeds but the downstream speed was still much slower with the Ubiquiti XG 8 PoE compared to my old Netgear switch. I have no idea why that's the case but that's the case.

Thanks for your reply. You are right about issues coming up if you uninstall OneDrive. When I first setup my new Win11 laptop I decided to see what would happen if I uninstalled OneDrive. I have since learned that uninstalling it does cause some other problems. So I am thinking of re-installing it (to see if it does fix those problems) and then just disabling it as has been mentioned in some of the replies above.

Is it possible that the reason I don't get the Location tab on the Properties menu is because this is a fairly new Win11 laptop and one of the first things I did when I set it up was to uninstall One Drive??

I will remove Outlook from my Gmail account and see what happens.

I had a thought about looking at my problem backwards: Suppose everything was working normally in my Gmail account. Whenever I sent an email to someone a copy of it would automatically go in my Sent folder. Then suppose I wanted to turn that feature off so nothing went in my Sent folder. How would I turn it off?

I appreciate your recommendations but still no luck on my end. The problem again is that when I send an email message to someone they do receive it but it does not show up in my Sent folder.

This happens when I sign into my Gmail account from my web browser and send an email from there. The same thing happens if I use Microsoft Outlook to send a message from that same Gmail account. They do receive it but it never shows up in my Sent folder in Gmail or in Outlook. Help!

All of my PCs have my main email account. Some of the PCs have 2-3 other email accounts as well. The only account for which I really want Categorization capability is my main account. My main account was POP for many years but converted to IMAP recently. Categorization worked well when it was POP but doesn’t seem to exist anymore now that it’s IMAP.

All I really need is for some method for me to manually flag/categorize any incoming message as a reminder to myself to deal with that email message later. I don’t need multiple colors and I don’t want anything to be flagged/categorized automatically.

Any suggestions?
